107. FRIENDSGIIVNG DISASTER

Chapter one hundred and seven

"Friendsgiving disaster."

For friendsgiving, Caroline had assigned Athena and Stefan the turkey, and yet the morning of Athena was informed of a guys weekend and how he'd keep her updated once they got there, and when she asked him that it's not like she can't show up to Caroline's friendsgiving, he told her that he knows and that he already got her ride, which was how Athena was walking into the dorm building with Alaric's new girlfriend Jo who had driven her here, where she was carrying the turkey for her while Athena carried the cranberries.

As the two walked up to the table, Elena and Caroline looked to them "Jo, Athena." Elena told them "hi." Athena and Jo told her "where's Alaric and Stefan?" Elena asked "don't kill the messengers." Jo shared, as her and Athena walked down "impromptu guys weekend. Whatever that means." Athena shared, looking to her sister "where do you want this?" she asked, walking toward's her along with Jo.

Athena was in the kitchen of the dorm trying to help with the rest of the food, Caroline ran up to her "no, no, your supposed to be sitting down or laying down until dinner is ready!" she voiced, as Athena turned to her "how am I supposed to eat in front of a bunch of people Caroline when eating human food makes me sick?" she asked her, as Caroline raised her brows, she turned grabbing a bag, she turned to her and opened it, showing her the blood bags "I've got it handled. And if anything the only one who will be asking questions about it is Elena's boyfriend Liam. So would you please for me go sit?" she asked her, as Athena nodded "okay." she told her, turning and walking off.

And Caroline was right, because when Athena sat down on the couch, she ended up falling asleep, Tyler had walked up to her and put a blanket over her that he gotten from his dorm room, Caroline walked up to him "you don't need to do that." she told him, as Tyler turned to her "yeah I do. I may not run at a hot temp anymore but her body was freezing." he shared, walking off, Caroline furrowed her brows "what?" she asked, walking toward's the couch, she brought her hand down to her sister's, and it was cold, as her eyes went wide.

Jo walked up to her "what's wrong?" she asked "I don't know. Her skin is freezing." Caroline shared, as Jo leaned down putting her hand down to her, she felt how cold she was, she turned to them "do you have blood?" she asked her "yeah, I'll get it." Caroline told her, running off, Jo sighed "when Ric told me your situation I promised I'd help." she shared, as Caroline came running over with the to go cup, Jo sat Athena up, and gave her the cup, as Athena drank from it, Jo sat next to her and as she did, Athena began drink more, where her skin began to get warm again, Jo gave Caroline a smile "all good." she told her, as Caroline let out a breath.

And soon dinner was ready, as Jo helped Athena off the couch "my sister is gonna kill me." Athena shared, as they began walking to the dining room "why because you've been pretending to be a regular pregnant women and freaked her out or because you won't be able to eat the thanksgiving dinner?" Jo asked "both? I mean I never really celebrated holidays until I was fourteen but Caroline really loves this stuff and I feel like I'm gonna ruin it for her." Athena shared "well, seeing as I am the oldest person here and my date bailed on me everyone else here thinks I'm crashing." Jo shared, as the two of them laughed.

Elena then walked up to them "you two seem happy?" she asked "just boasting at the fact that with the men gone, we're practically ruining thanksgiving." Jo shared "no you're not." Elena told them, as they walked to where everyone else was "ok. What's one plus one?" a voice that sounded like Jo's asked "two!" kids voiced "two plus two?" Jo's voiced asked again "four!" the kids voiced "what are you watching?" Jo asked, as Tyler, Luke and Liv looked to them "that kind of sounds like your voice." Elena shared "that is my voice." Jo shared, as her and Athena walked down, Elena followed them "I took that video eighteen years ago at a birthday party for the twins." Jo shared.
