111. THE CAROLINE ONLY ATHENA KNEW

Chapter one hundred and eleven

"The Caroline only Athena knew."

They all were celebrating Bonnie's birthday today even though she couldn't be there for it, as Athena held Annabeth in her arms, she walked into the living room and as she did, she noticed a very familiar teddy bear on the table "miss cuddles?" she asked, walking over to it, Stefan walked up behind her with two bottles "you know miss cuddles?" he asked her "Bonnie gave it to me the day Tyler and Matt dropped me down the well." Athena shared "well, that's the bear Bonnie sent back from 1994." Stefan shared "I must've lost the original one." Athena shared.

As Caroline walked in "you didn't lose her. I took her." she shared, as Athena and Stefan looked to her "what? Why?" Athena asked her "well Bonnie gave it to you because she said it would keep you safe and I didn't like the fact that it brought you comfort and made you feel safe seeing as you were already mommy's little girl, so when you were sleeping I snuck into your room and bearnapped miss cuddles. And then I didn't want mom to come home and find out, so the next morning I buried her in the woods. I even left some mam's to mark the spot where I left her, but something must've eaten them." Caroline shared.

"Well, I'm sure Athena is over it by.." Stefan shared, as he turned looking at Athena seeing her glaring at Caroline "never mind." he said "you know what? You and me are gonna go find her." Caroline shared "your gonna what?" Stefan asked, as Athena handed Annabeth to Stefan "wait, wait, you two have been going through a lot lately. Maybe you two shouldn't go venturing off into the woods on your own?" Stefan asked "then come." Athena shared, walking off after Caroline, Stefan looked down at Annabeth, he heard the door open "wait! I'm coming!" he voiced, walking after them.

Walking in the woods "are we even close to where miss cuddles is or are you completely lost?" Athena asked her, as Caroline huffed, stabbing the shovel into the ground and beginning to dig, Stefan stood behind them as he leaned against a rock with Annabeth in his arms "Athena." he told her, as Athena looked to him "what? It's been years! And she took miss cuddles from me all because the circus freak was getting all the attention because she doesn't like it when the world doesn't revolve around her!" she voiced "oh please! You think the world revolves around me?" Caroline asked, as Athena turned to her "when we were kids, mom would drop everything for you!" Caroline voiced.

"Whoa, can we maybe pull back on the hostility here? I mean just like miss cuddles all this stuff happened years ago." Stefan shared "well, seeing as the day Miranda and Grayson came and took her on her great adventure! Our mom then threw herself into her work because she couldn't handle the fact that she was gone!" Caroline voiced, as she continued digging.

Sometime had passed, as Caroline kept digging holes "ooh! I see an mam!" Athena voiced "where?" Caroline asked, looking to her "over there!" Athena voiced, pointing behind her, Caroline turned around and began walking toward's it "closer. Closer." Athena told her, as Caroline then tripped over the rock, Athena laughed, Caroline turned to her "very funny!" she voiced, as Athena looked to Stefan, he was laughing, as she looked to Caroline "Stefan's laughing." she told her "yeah but I'm pretty sure he's laughing at childish your being!" Caroline voiced.

"Ooh, see that right there? Hmm? That's the Caroline I know that nobody get's to see you because you know she's a nasty person!" Athena voiced, as Caroline stepped towards her "shut up!" she voiced, shoving her "hey!" Stefan voiced, as Athena stepped forward shoving Caroline back, Caroline then grabbed the shovel, swinging it at her, Athena caught it she raised her brows "you really wanna do this?" she asked her, as Caroline let go of the shovel, stepping back, Athena chuckled "that's what I thought." she told her, as Caroline swept her foot out from under her.

Athena landed on the ground hard "Caroline!" Stefan voiced, as Athena swung the shovel, hitting Caroline in the back of the legs sending her down on the ground, the two lied there catching their breath, from the ground, Athena looked behind her, and as she did, she furrowed brows, as she quickly rolled back over and got up, walking ahead of her "what?" Stefan asked her, as Athena reached down, pulling miss cuddles out of the ground, she laughed "oh my god." Caroline said "this thing is disgusting!" Athena voiced, as her and Caroline laughed "oh, I'm sure we can clean her up, make her as good as new." Stefan shared, as miss cuddles head fell off, Athena gasped all their eyes went wide, as all three of them laughed.

Later that night, Athena had stitched up miss cuddles, and she had put it in the wash as she was sitting in the living room holding Annabeth in her arms, Stefan came walking up to her holding miss cuddles, he sat down next to her, holding it out to Annabeth and as he did, Annabeth reached her hands up to it grabbing onto it and pulling it closer to her, as Athena and Stefan smiled at her, Stefan brought his hand up and turned Athena to face him and kissed her.
