Chapter one hundred and forty nine

"Start of time."

In the few weeks from then, Annabeth and Jace had gone from twelve years old to seventeen, and today happened to be miss mystic falls, and seeing her past track record with the event was awful, Athena was planning to change that track record, as she was wearing a off the shoulder white dress, she was standing behind Annabeth curling her hair as she was wearing a burgundy dress, she soon finished as she put the curling iron down and turned it off, she leaned down putting her chin on her shoulder "beautiful." she told her, as her and Annabeth smiled.

"Athena!" Jace called out, and when he did, Athena and Annabeth chuckled "coming!" Athena voiced, turning around and walking out of the room, she closed the door behind her as she turned heading into the room next door, Jace turned to her "do I have to wear a tie?" he asked, as Athena walked up to him "yes." she said, taking it and putting it back around his neck, she furrowed her brows "I thought you grew up in a fancy boarding school in New York?" she questioned "and by boarding school I meant training academy. I just thought boarding school sounded less like I was just dumped off at a building and raised to kill monsters." Jace shared.

And when he did, Athena knew that feeling all too well "well when I got taken away from my family and trained, I was told it was an adventure. And Annabeth was forced to experience her's in a way that I would've never chosen for her. So you two are more alike then you know. Especially when you don't wanna talk about the bad stuff." she shared, finishing with his tie, she smoothed out his suit "is this.." Jace asked her "Damon's. Much more your style." Athena shared, as her and Jace chuckled.

Having headed to miss mystic falls, Athena walked in first and as she did, Bonnie looked at her with wide eyes, knowing what kind of memories this event held for her "Athena." she said, as Athena smiled "hi, Bonnie, welcome back from Paris." she told her, as Caroline walked up "I thought you said you were bringing Jace and Annabeth?" she asked her "I did. They came in while I was parking the car. What's wrong you two seem stressed." Athena shared "well, Seline called us to talk about the bell and seeing as we have the second part. The third one is in Damon's hands. So once the dance is under away we can get out of here and find that striker." Caroline shared.

"Bonnie do you have your cell phone cause I feel like this moment of Caroline deciding to skip out on miss mystic falls needs to be caught in the making." Athena shared, as Bonnie laughed, Caroline huffed "very funny. All we have to worry about is if Damon decides to answer his phone." she shared, as Bonnie looked around them "or we could ask him in person." she shared, as Caroline and Athena furrowed their brows, the two turned turned around seeing Damon and Stefan, Stefan looked right at Athena "what are you even doing here?" Caroline asked "I invited them." Sybil shared, as they all turned to her "don't worry. As long as I get what I want, I'll make sure they behave." Sybil shared "I need a drink." Athena shared, walking off.

Standing at the bar, Athena downed her drink, as she put it back on the bar "another please." she told him, as the bartender grabbed the bourbon, Stefan walked up "I have driven you to drinking." he shared "no actually. Like everything else in my life this has nothing to do with you." Athena shared, as she grabbed her drink, she turned walking away from the bar, Stefan grabbed his drink and followed after her.

Meanwhile, Bonnie was walking around and as she did, she noticed a teenage boy walk by her and when he did, for some reason she felt like she recognized him, as she watched him walk up to a teenage girl who looked just as familiar and watched him spin her around, the two laughed, as Bonnie's eyes went wide recognizing those laughs, Enzo walked up to her "what's wrong, luv?" he asked her "that's Annabeth and Jace." Bonnie shared "what?" Enzo asked "right there." Bonnie told him, as Enzo looked in the direction she was, seeing them "they're.." he said "seventeen." Bonnie said "and in love." Enzo shared, putting his arms around her, Annabeth grabbed Jace's hand and turned leading them down the hallway.
