071. GOT A SECRET, CAN YOU KEEP IT

Chapter seventy one

"Got a secret, can you keep it."

While Damon was out looking for Katherine and the cure, Caroline had told him and Stefan about how her and Athena's mom said it was about to get worse then just vervain in the water supply and that she needed help, which was why Stefan was standing in the sheriff's office, holding a bunch of papers about missing blood in his hands "the entire supply of blood from the hospital, all the reserves gone, just vanished." Sheriff Forbes shared, as Stefan furrowed his brows, closing the folder "I don't understand. Are you accusing us?" he asked her.

"No, I'm not accusing you, but this town is at a tipping point. Any more unexplained house fires and things are gonna boil over." sheriff Forbes shared, as Stefan looked down "I'm sorry. I know it's not your fault. It's been a rough week." sheriff Forbes shared, as she walked around her desk "Miranda Gilbert was one of my best friends in high school, my daughter became her daughter, so to see what's happened to not just my own family but also her's, is just.." she shared, looking down.

"Look, Liz..if there's anything I can do to help. I promise I will." Stefan told her, as sheriff Forbes looked back up at him "good. You need to. Whoever stole that blood put a lot of lives in danger and risks exposing all of you, my daughter included. So, who can you think of who wants blood that bad? Who would be so careless?" sheriff Forbes asked, furrowing her brows, so did Stefan as he began to think about it.

Meanwhile, across town at the Forbes residence, Athena was driving down the road on her motorcycle and as she did, she didn't see her mom or her sister's cars in the driveway, as she drove up and into the garage, she parked her bike, as she brought her hands up and took her helmet off, she had a smirk on her face, as she put her helmet down, she climbed off of her bike and turned grabbing the duffel bag on the back of it, slinging it over her shoulder, she walked to the door that lead into the house, pressing the button to close the garage door, as she headed inside.

She began walking down the hallway as her boot's clicked against the floor, she passed Caroline's room, and then turned down the hallway and headed toward's her's, as she pulled the key out of her pocket, she stuck it in the lock and unlocked it, pushing it open, she turned around and shut it, locking it again, she sighed, as she turned back around, noticing blood bags littering the floor, she walked further in and dropped the duffel bag down on the floor, she began picking up the empty one's, she walked over to the duffel bag in the corner and opened it up, revealing dozens of other empty blood bags and stuck the new one's inside as she zipped it back up.

She turned around walking toward's the new one, and crouched down, revealing a bunch of new blood bags, she picked one up and tossed it to her right and as she did, it was caught, as Silas hummed "you are not only beautiful but are a genius." he shared, opening the blood bag, he began drinking from it, Athena smiled "thank you, hopefully these will suffice for now. My mom's no doubt getting suspicious.." she shared, huffing, she walked over to her bed and sat down on the end of it, as she began unzipping her boots.

"Which is gonna make it impossible for us to keep this our little secret." she told him, tossing her boots down to the floor, and as she did, the empty blood bag fell down next to them, as Athena then felt her hair be brushed to the side, as Silas leaned down and began kissing her neck, she couldn't help but smile, as she turned around, putting her lips onto his, Silas hummed, smiling into the kiss, he put his arms around her as he began kissing her back, he rolled the two of them over.

Later on, Athena had gotten a text about a party at the Salvatore boarding house and to keep her secret a secret, she decided to go, walking inside, there was a whole lot of people, where as she looked through all of them, Stefan and Caroline spotted her first "Athena's here." Caroline mentioned "I'm gonna go grab her before Elena chooses her as her next snack of choice." Stefan shared, as he began walking toward's her "oh, that's the only reason why?" Caroline asked him, as Stefan ignored her "hey." he told Athena.
