142. SO WE DON'T BECOME A PART OF YOUR PROPHECY

Chapter one hundred and forty two

"So we don't become a part of your prophecy." 

The next morning, Jace and Annabeth were in the living room as the two held their angel blade swords in their hands, the two went at each other and swung their swords, where the sound of metal colliding with metal could be heard throughout the house, as Annabeth swung her sword at Jace, he kept blocking her hits and backing away from her, where Annabeth then swung her sword at his head as Jace ducked away from it "your good but you're not that good." he shared, bringing his foot up, he kicked Annabeth's sword out of her hand.

As Annabeth looked to where it landed, Jace swung his sword at her head, as Annabeth quickly dodged it, she ran for her sword, Jace spun his sword in his hand, as Athena walked into the living room looking at them "you have to stop losing your sword." she shared, and as she did, Annabeth looked to her "like you've never had that happen to you." she shared, as Athena raised her brows thinking to when Klaus found out she was still alive and threw it across the gym floor "not willingly." she shared.

As Stefan walked up behind her "we've gotta go." he told her, as Athena turned to him "I know." she told him "where are you going?" Annabeth asked, as Athena looked to her "Enzo and Damon are killing women named Sarah Nelson, which means their looking for Sarah Salvatore and we can't let them kill her." she shared "we're coming with you." Annabeth shared "I can't let you. We don't even know how to take out the siren yet and I will not let you to get hurt because of it." Athena shared, as Jace stepped forward "but if they know I'm with you they could come here." he shared, and when he did, Athena knew he was right and that she had to take them with her wherever she went "we're leaving now. Come on." she shared, turning and walking off, Annabeth and Jace followed her.

Driving down the road, Bonnie was in the back with Jace and Annabeth while Athena sat in the passenger seat while Stefan drove "Sarah's mother was Zach Salvatore's girlfriend in 1994." Stefan shared "hang on. I think I know this story. Damon killed a pregnant lady. Worst thing he's ever done." Bonnie shared "wouldn't exactly put that at the top of his list." Athena shared "the baby survived. She grew up as Sarah Nelson." Stefan shared "and you made sure she got adopted by a loving family. Gave her a trust fund, kept her safe." Athena shared "so why would Damon target Sarah?" Bonnie asked.

"He wouldn't. He doesn't even know she exists." Stefan shared "but Enzo dragged her into our lives where when Caroline tried to kill me and Annabeth she also tried to kill Sarah." Athena shared "so you think it was Enzo's idea?" Bonnie asked "a siren can get in your head. Read your thoughts. If he thought of this Sarah girl there must be something he doesn't want her to know." Jace shared, as Bonnie looked down at him "like of someone he cares about?" she asked, as Jace looked to her "if it was someone he cared about enough to keep her from controlling him? Yes." he shared, Bonnie's eyes went wide, as they continued to drive off.

Making it to North Caroline, they headed into Sarah's apartment, as Bonnie was in the kitchen, Stefan, Athena, Annabeth and Jace were all waiting in the living room, as the front door to the apartment opened, Sarah and Enzo walked in, they looked at them all "what are you lot doing here?" he asked, as Bonnie walked out of the kitchen, Enzo looked to her shocked "nice to see you, too." Bonnie told him "hello, luv." Enzo told her, as Athena raised her brows "Sarah." she told her, and as she did, Sarah looked from her to Annabeth.

Where as Bonnie talked to Enzo in the kitchen, Annabeth and Jace were in the living room while Athena went into Sarah's room with her helping her pack while Stefan watched them "you know when I left you in the hospital and left you a note to get out of town. I didn't mean go back to where they could find you." Athena shared "well I've been taking vervain and carrying it on me." Sarah shared "vervain's not gonna stop them from killing you just slow them down or stop them from drinking your blood." Athena shared "well I still wanted to live my life." Sarah shared, as Athena turned to her "and now they'll be no life because they found you and are going to kill you." she shared.
