Chapter one hundred and eighteen

"Monster in law."

It was the night of Alaric and Jo's bachelor bachelorette parties, which meant Damon was having a bunch of women come to the house to spend time with the guys while they talk and drank booze where for the girls, thankfully for Athena seeing as she didn't want to leave her daughter in a house with a bunch of drunk idiots getting lap dances they were going to a diner, where they all were eating and laughing, as Athena fed Annabeth a french fry "an entire diner to ourselves? Actual heaven." Jo shared.

Athena raised her brows "I'm so glad you guys decided to stuff our faces." she shared "she's right, your geniuses." Jo shared, as the two ate their fries "except aren't you a vegetarian?" Bonnie asked "Bonnie, don't ruin it." Elena said "coming from the women who was pregnant and started to drink human blood to survive. Don't knock the pregnancy cravings until your the one who's pregnant." Athena shared "besides, it's my party and I'll eat what I want to. I do wish this was vodka though." Jo shared, drinking her milkshake "right." Elena said.

As Jo looked to Athena "hey, I don't wanna know what Ric's doing, do I?" she asked "let's just say there's a reason the baby was taken to the bachelorette party and it's not just because she's cute." Athena shared, drinking her milkshake, Annabeth started crying "okay." Athena said, getting up, she grabbed Annabeth out of her carrier "you need this?" Bonnie asked her, holding the bottle out to her "yes. I'm just gonna go for a walk real quick and I'll be back." Athena shared, taking the bottle from her, she began walking to the front door, heading out.

Meanwhile at the house, Stefan had headed up to their room, as he was sitting at his desk, he was looking at the photos and videos Athena had sent to him, where one of the pictures was here holding Annabeth, as he smiled, he swiped over, where it was a video where Bonnie was feeding Annabeth a french fry as they all were laughing, Stefan laughed, as he swiped again "say hi to dada." Athena said, as Annabeth smiled and threw the french fry at her "mama!" she said, as Bonnie, Jo and Elena could be heard laughing "say hi to dada!" Athena voiced "hi, dada!" Annabeth voiced.

"Well, that's adorable." Enzo said, as Stefan turned to him with furrowed brows "what are you doing in my bedroom?" he asked him, standing up "oh, believe me, there are a number of places I'd rather be..like getting french fries thrown at me by a baby who before we all know it will be throwing something much sharper. Unfortunately for me, I'm here because your mother needs your help." Enzo shared, walking toward's him "my mother?" Stefan asked "apparently, her beloved ascendant's been destroyed. She's in bad shape. Could use a bit of your time." Enzo shared "what the hell do you know about my mother?" Stefan asked.

Where when Enzo told him what he knew, Stefan was taking a page out of Athena's book and hiding in the shadows, waiting for his mother to come along, where he watched as a man was walking down the dimly lit sidewalk where his mother followed right behind him, as he then sped in front of her "hello, mother." he told her, as his mother's vampire face went away as she watched her meal escape, Stefan turned around seeing him leave as well, as he looked back at her "I think it's time you and I have a talk." he told her.

As the two were then sitting in the grill "this is entirely unnecessary. I was merely getting a breath of fresh air." his mother shared "mm." Stefan said, watching as she tapped her fingers against the table "what you got there, a junkie tic?" he asked her, as his mother stopped "I have the same thing. It's funny how that works, isn't it?" Stefan asked "what is this some kind of..mother son bonding experiment?" his mother asked "no, no. You made your feelings for me perfectly clear when I came back after my wife turned my humanity on you barely even acknowledge me and left the house without as much as a hello to me." Stefan shared.
