092. IN THE SEARCH FOR AN ANTIDOTE

Chapter ninety two

"In the search for a antidote."

The next morning, Athena had taken the information from Damon of where Wes's lab was and went to go look for a cure for Damon, knowing she was the number one reason he decided to leave and hunt Wes and got injected with that virus in the first place, as she rummaged through the shelves, nothing resembled an antidote "ugh!" she voiced, grabbing onto the shelf and knocking it over, she then turned to doing the same to the other, as she began destroying the entire makeshift lab.

Athena soon was standing there amongst it all, as she sensed a vampire behind her, she spun around, seeing Enzo "Enzo." she said, as Enzo smiled "and you must be the real Athena. I was unaware you had green eyes." he shared, as Athena held her hand up, showing him her engagement ring "and I'm engaged." she informed him, as she looked around her "but if your here for the antidote to Damon's vampire ripper disease it's not here. Clearly." she shared 

"That's because I have it." Enzo shared, and as he did, Athena furrowed her brows "how would you have it? Or better yet where have you been?" she asked "right. Last we saw each other, you pushed me out of the way so Damon could feed on your pretty little neck. And from what I reckon with how much you knew about rippers that wasn't new for you." Enzo shared "long story. Where's the antidote?" Athena asked him "also a long story that involves you and your fiance coming with me." Enzo shared, and when he did, Athena sighed as she pulled out her cell phone, calling Stefan, she put the phone to her ear.

Stefan answered on the first ring "hey." he told her "bad news, I don't have the antidote." Athena shared "what? What do you mean you don't have it?" Stefan asked her "I mean Enzo has it so you have to come meet me. I'll text you the address." Athena shared "Enzo? Why are you with Enzo?" Stefan asked her, worried about her "he came here, okay! And I'm pretty sure there's no room for discussion here on who brings it.." Athena shared, as Enzo waved his finger for her to wrap it up "especially as he's telling me to hang up on you." Athena informed him "Athena, just tell me your at least safe." Stefan shared.

And as he did, Enzo walked up and took her phone "hey!" Athena voiced "the travelers don't want anyone to know what they are up to and that includes your new witch. So, just do what the lady says and follow the address. The faster you do, the faster you see her." Enzo shared, hanging up, he typed in the address and sent it to Stefan, Athena then snatched her phone from him as she turned walking off.

Having made it to an address it was an abandoned junkyard, where when Athena got there Enzo was nowhere in sight as Stefan's car pulled up behind her motorcycle, as he quickly got out of it, and walked up to her "hey, you okay?" he asked, putting his hands on the side of her face "yeah, other then me having a full on freak out and destroying Wes's makeshift lab over not finding Damon a cure after everything he's done for me, nothing else happened." Athena shared, as she brought her hands up, taking his hands in her's, she turned around and began walking off toward's the train car's.

As Stefan followed after her "it's just that when you told me you were with him I was worried about what he'd do to you." he shared "well at first I wasn't worried but when he took my phone and mentioned the travelers after the experience we had with them last time then I was worried." Athena shared "I can assure you love, you'll be fine." Enzo shared, as Athena and Stefan turned around and looked at him "so, what's in this for you? Aside from getting Damon to undo every positive decision he's ever made?" Stefan asked him "is it such an anomaly for Damon to have a friend?" Enzo asked.
