Beatrice got up and looked down at Vincent. She then turned to Dora.

-Put him in a cell., ordered Beatrice as she walked to the door.

-But Miss-, tried Vincent.

-You may have had a reason to do it and the king might have been an asshole to you, but you are still the reason that my father died. You will not be harmed, however you will also not be free., interrupted Beatrice as she didnt turn around to look at him.

She opened the door and walked out, walking back upstairs. She walked to her room, closing the door behind herself. It was at that moment that, the first moment she had spent alone since she left Camila's house, only then did she realize that Ava had broken up with her. Or she had broken up with Ava by leaving. She frowned at the thought, clenching her jaw. Only then did she turn her phone on again. She looked at her phone, seeing countless of messages of her friends. But none of them came from Ava. It was late already. Too late to show up at Ava's house and ask for forgiveness. She knew she would meet with Ava in the morning to drive her to school so she could talk with her. She read her friends worried messages, replying to every single one of them. She was tempted to call or text Ava, however she didnt, wanting to be with her physically to discuss whatever had happened earlier. So she went to bed.

In the morning, Beatrice drove to Ava's house after telling Dora that she wasnt needed in the morning to protect Ava. She pulled up in the driveway, walked up to the front door and rang the bell. Diego opened the door, frowning a little.

-You made Ava cry. I don't like you anymore. You were mean to her., said the boy with the same frown.

-I know. I came to apologize. Can you call Ava?, asked Beatrice as her guilt hit her.

-No., replied Diego without elaborating any further.

-Please?, added Beatrice, looking at the younger boy, hoping he would let her see her.

-Ava is not home anymore. She left early., shrugged the boy.

-Promise?, continued Beatrice but then she saw Marisa walk up to them.

She gulped and straightened herself.

-What do you want?, asked the mother coldly.

-Marisa, I am so sorry for my behavior yesterday., apologized Beatrice immediately.

-Don't apologize to me. Apologize to Ava., replied Marisa.

-I know. That's why I'm here., admitted Beatrice with a nod.

-She's not here anymore. She left early. I think their coach wanted to talk to the team since that girl who was captain vanished., explained Marisa.

-Told you., said Diego as he crossed his arms.

-Okay. Thank you. I will make things right. You have my word. I promise., swore Beatrice as she started walking back to her car.

She got in and drove to school in a rush, parking her car and then making her way to the football field. She could see girls gathered up, so she approached them. She looked for Ava but couldn't see them. One of the girls noticed Beatrice.

-The princess., stated the girl, making everyone turn around to look at her.

Beatrice sighed when she didn't see Ava.

-Where is Ava? Ava Silva?, asked Beatrice, looking at coach superiorn.

-She didn't show up today. I wanted to elect her as new captain since Crimson is gone. But she didn't come. Make sure to tell her that when you see her., replied the coach.

Beatrice frowned, not having a good feeling about this. She walked back to her car. She immediately called Marisa. The mother didn't take long to pick up.

-Yes?, asked the mother.

-Ava isn't here. She's not at school., stated Beatrice.

-What?, frowned Marisa.

-Did she take the car or the bus?, asked the younger brunette.

-The bus. Beatrice, what-, tried the mother.

-I have a bad feeling, Marisa. I'm gonna trace her way back home to see if I see her. Try calling her, she wouldn't pick up for me right now., replied Beatrice.

-Okay. I will. Keep me updated please., pleaded the mother.

-You too., sighed Beatrice as she hung up.

She started the car and drove the path she knew the bus takes. She walked past every place the bus drive past, stopped at a few bus stops to see if she could see Ava. She drove down the street and noticed something on the sidewalk. Something specific caught her eye. She pulled over quickly, getting out of the car and seeing a familiar object. A backpack. She grabbed it, knowing that it was Ava's. She frowned when she looked around, trying to see if Ava was just somewhere around, desperately hoping to find her. She clenched her jaw and got back in her car, calling Marisa once again.

-I found her backpack., said Beatrice the second Marisa picked up.

-Where?, frowned Marisa.

-On a sidewalk., sighed Beatrice when she started the car again.

-Beatrice, find my daughter. Now!, exclaimed the mother as she now started to panic.

-I will. I promise. I'm going to call my girls. They will find her., replied Beatrice, trying to calm Marisa down.

-You better! Bring her home!, continued the mother.

-I will do whatever it takes., swore the brunette.

She then heard Marisa hang up. She then proceeded to call Dora and tell her what happened. She could hear Dora ordering some girls around, getting them ready to actively look for Ava. Beatrice drove to Ava's house, pulling over to the driveway again. She walked up to the door, Marisa already standing there. Beatrice handed her the backpack without saying a word, seeing the panic and anger in Marisa's expression. The mother grabbed the back and opened it, looking inside. She frowned when she saw it being empty. Except for a small envelope. She grabbed it and opened it. She pulled a handwritten letter out, reading it. She frowned, not understanding it. She handed it to Beatrice. The brunette looked down and read it.

Pay the debt.  You have 48 hours. At my meeting place.

-D.

Beatrice clenched her jaw, trying to stay composed and looked at Marisa.

-I know what happened., said Beatrice angrily.
