Cristal got up and put her shirt on again, taking her purse and walking to the door. Beatrice quickly got up and blocked her passage.
-Hey- hey wait. I understand, okay? I know you're afraid and you have every right to be. But if you agree to this, I can help you. Let me help you. Let me make up for my mother's mistakes. Please., said Beatrice as she stood between Cristal and the door.
-Let me out or I'll start screaming for help., warned Cristal.
-Please, don't do that. I promise I have no ill intents. I just want to help you., continued Beatrice, not moving.
Cristal took a deep breath, ready to scream, but Beatrice quickly moved her hand to her mouth, pushing her against the wall lightly.
-I don't want to hurt you. I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to get justice. My mother and Duretti need to pay for what they have done. With your testimony, we could take them down., said Beatrice, holding Cristal still.
Meanwhile, Cristal was panicking, trying to fight off Beatrice and get out of her grip. The brunette clearly noticed that.
-Hey, hey. I'm sorry, okay? I just can't have you screaming. I'm protecting you. I want to let go but for that I need you to promise me that you won't scream. Okay?, said the brunette calmly.
Cristal nodded against her hand, looking at Beatrice with tears in her eyes. Beatrice felt guilty for having put her in such a state. She nodded back and removed her hand, taking a step back. Cristal stayed against the wall, just watching the brunette.
-I'm sorry. I am. I'm not going to hurt you. I swear. I'm not like my mother. Okay? I just want to help you and every girl who's in the same situation as you., explained Beatrice, staying away from the escort to let her relax.
-You- You have a weird way of showing that you want to help., replied Cristal.
-I know. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. But if you were to scream, then three cops would burst in here and they would harm you, thinking you'd be harming me. I'm trying to protect you., explained the brunette, speaking truthfully.
-Did you kill your father?, asked Cristal.
-What? No. Why would I have done that?, asked Beatrice with a frown.
-Well, your father is dead and your mother is arrested so you'll be the one in charge. Maybe you got rid of your dad just to become our queen., shrugged Cristal, her breath being steady now.
-I didn't kill my father. I loved him. Unlike my mother. I'm not trying to get rid of my mother either. I just want her to pay for her crimes and the pain she has caused. I want to be better., replied the brunette.
Cristal sighed and looked around.
-So there's a team listening to us right now?, asked the escort.
-And watching us, yes., nodded Beatrice, wanting to be fully honest.
-And they heard everything I said to you?, wondered Cristal.
-Ever since we entered the room, yes., nodded Beatrice.
-Everything has been recorded?, asked Cristal.
-Yes., nodded Beatrice once again.
-So why did you tell me the truth?, frowned Cristal.
-What do you mean?, questioned the brunette.
-You could have taken the tape to court and I would have never known. You could have kept lying to me and getting information out of me. But instead you told me the truth. Why?, asked the escort.
