Truly, the ice skating competition is getting nearer. For one last time, Sunghoon invited Wonyoung in his favorite ice skating rink.

A soft music was playing in the background as Sunghoon swiftly glides in the floor. For the nth time, Sunghoon meets his best friend again — his favorite sports. He smiled with the thought.

After a couple of practice, Sunghoon decided to take a break and went near her. He saw a while ago that the woman was secretly taking a pictures of him alone. He just laugh when he it crosses his mind.

“What are you thinking?” Wonyoung asks while munching some pancakes coated with chocolates and strawberries. She showed him the pancakes and asks if he likes to grab and eat one.

He gently shakes his head as he refused,“oh, you don't have to know.” He said, smiling on his own.

This made Wonyoung stop on her eating session. It is a sight to behold, so rare that she hopes it will lasts but she knows it isn't possible.

She smiled.

“Are you tired?” She asked while giving him his towel. Tiny beads of sweat are forming on Sunghoon’s forhead. He grab the towel.

“Thank you.” He looked at her and smirk, “How can I when I'm with you?” That was smooth. Sunghoon’s rizzing y’all.

That statement made Wonyoung choked by her own. She cough and cough as she patted her chest. She glares at him.

“Oh sh— here." Sunghoon handled her a water bottle and softly patting her back. He doesn't want to hurt her, “you alright?”

Wonyoung took a deep breath. “Can you please be serious?”

“I am serious.”

She look at him with disbelief, “we both know you're not.” She rolled her eyes.

“Hey, sweetheart. I meant what I said. You are my safe place. I am at peace when I'm with you. Seeing you makes my worries and tiredness disappears.”

“Oh.”

That was reassuring. Indeed.

Wonyoung didn't know where to look at. She knows that butterflies in the stomach is a warning sign but she can't help to feel it. Might as well feel zoo animals in the stomach, Wonyoung.

Just look everywhere except the man in front of you, girl. Her face must be as hot as the Sun and as red as a tomato now. Anyone who wants to be Wonyoung right now? (I might put your name later in one my chapters  ‘cause why not? ^^)

She didn't know what to reply neither what to say so she remained speechless. Should she say thank you?

IT'S D-DAY!

EThrilling music is playing in the arena. It was so full already. Every “penguins” are gathered to support Sunghoon in the ice rink. Wonyoung just learned that Sunghoon has a fandom named “Penguins”. It sounds cute but why penguins though? He, sure, is popular, how can you forgot it, Wonyoung? And try to ask him about it.

She watched as his fans gathered to form a crowd, holding cardboards with encouraging and admiring words, several fan with Sunghoon’s face imprinted on it, posters—wait, what?! Is that a lightstick? What in the hell?! Wonyoung thought.

“Wow. They are so prepared than you, girl.” Soohee said. She is also busy watching the Penguins. “There is a crowd line up for Sunghoon yet you just walk straight to the entrance.” She look at her and patted her shoulders while slowly nodding, “you are a bizarre one."

“I..”, she was speechless.

“This is one of the reason why people love and adore him. He is a monster in the ice rink.”

“Yeah.” She said as she felt a warm feeling inside her. Proud is evidently seen in her eyes. She's so proud of his man.

After a minute, she noticed someone seated besides her—it was Niki. He wasn't alone, he’s with the whole Enhypen gang.

“Oh, hi!” Wonyoung greeted. He just look at her then look away. Wonyoung can't help but to feel disappointed but when the speaker made a crispy, ruffling sound, it makes her ears peaked and eyes look in front.

“A lovely day, Hybe University students!” the crowd roared when the M.C began to speak.

Sunghoon will be participating in figure skating: men's singles. Wonyoung feel an anxiety as the host spoke more about the rules and regulations and etc, but excitement soon fills her when they introduce the names of competitors.

When she heard Sunghoon’s name, she shouted with her hearts content.

“Are you ready?!” the crowded roared once again. “And the competition begins!”

Many of the players show a unique moves. Double and Triple jumps are common in their performance. The crowd applauded and cheers for their skaters. Wonyoung can't stop herself from gasping whenever the skater creates a mistake, even the crowd. But they will still clap for them to encourage the skater to continue.

“Next to skate, representing the Senior High School department of Hybe University, Park Sunghoon!”

The crowd applauds him and then went in silence as he slides in the ice and go to his starting position. He look at the crowd for a second and instantly saw Wonyoung’s looking at him. He smiled. How can he not notice that woman? He only have eyes on her. Wonyoung didn't notice it though.

Wonyoung fixed her gaze on him only and silently praying for him. She can feel her heart pounding fast as Sunghoon begins his performance.

Sunghoon took a deep breath and slowly glides at the rink. He condition his body as an imaginary music fills his ear.

“For her.” he whispers.  “Let's get over this, Sunghoon.”

Crowd was amused seeing him do a triple jump, spins and rotate his body. The crowd was in awe. He spins and jump like a fairy. The way he moves seem so perfect and hypnotizing. His performance is magical, it makes you mesmerized. There's something in it that makes you crave for more. He glides with a smile, oozing confidence, elegance and freedom.

But many didn't anticipated his next move, he showed them why he is known as the “Ice Prince” of Hybe University and in Korea. He did a quadruple jump and the hardest move of all— the Axel. Quad Axel(4A) to be exact. Making everyone applaud and cheered even more. Some of the spectators can't help but to stand to watch him intently.

She unconsciously held Niki's arms and shook him as she watch Sunghoon’s movements. Niki look at her again with a weird expression but seeing her eyes delight with joy makes him feel defeated so he just let her be.

“That's my man!” Wonyoung whispers. Soohee heard her so she gave her the “look”. She just laughed.

Shouting is forbidden in the ice skating competition. She can only clap and applauds the skaters. We don't want our girl to be embarrassed, do we?
