Estrella was nearly finished with painting the name cards for each family and friend, as Caroline had asked her to do.

She added Enzo's name and hesitantly included Kai's, but she hid that card in her room.

Feeling much better after the past couple of days, Estrella was relieved to see Liz doing well too.

Despite some skepticism from her and Bonnie about how the magic had worked, they pushed those thoughts aside for Caroline's sake.

As Estrella picked up the last decoration from the living room and headed to the kitchen, she noticed Damon and Elena kissing, causing her hair to turn green in response.

"Please, for the love of God, stop! We eat here," she groaned, her face scrunched up in mock disgust as she shot a look at them. "And where are the cupcakes?"

Elena, cheeks flushed from embarrassment, quickly pointed towards the kitchen counter, gesturing to the tray of cupcakes sitting innocently on the counter.

Damon, on the other hand, smirked, clearly amused by the whole situation.

"Will Caroline find out if I have one now?" Estrella asked, slightly biting her lip to stop her guilty smile.

"She would. Nothing gets past her, but she won't mind if it's you who stole it," Elena replied with a smile.

"I'm not stealing it. Just borrowing it," She grumbled, taking a cupcake and biting into the delicious cake.

Elena wanted to ask her about what she thought of Jeremy, but before she could, they heard a familiar voice.

"Hello?" Kai's voice echoed from the front door, instantly sending a wave of tension through the room. Estrella stiffened at the sound, her body frozen in place.

Elena's face paled. "No... that's impossible. Why would he be here?" she muttered, disbelief lacing her words.

Damon closed his eyes, clearly hoping for something else. "He didn't. He's merged, packed, and supposed to be on his way to Portland!"

But before anyone could process, Kai casually strolled into the kitchen, his eyes scanning the space. "Whoa, I forgot how massive this house is," he said, sounding impressed as he took in the surroundings.

His gaze landed on the tray of cupcakes. "Yum, cupcakes," he added, his voice lowering into a whisper as he eyed the colorful decorations. "Sorry, am I interrupting something?"

Damon's annoyance was immediate, his expression darkening. "What are you doing here, Kai?" he snapped, clearly irritated by the unexpected visit.

Kai, unfazed as always, shifted his attention to Estrella. "Funniest thing," he said, holding up a letter with a casual flick of his wrist. "I need your help."

He began walking toward her, his gaze fixed on her as she remained frozen in place, caught off guard by his sudden presence.

"Thank you, pumpkin," he drawled sarcastically, taking her half-eaten cupcake from her hand. "How sweet of you to offer it to me."

Estrella glared at him, yet her hair slowly turned a faint shade of blue. She grumbled something under her breath, but Kai just smiled, clearly enjoying the effect he was having.

With deliberate slowness, he took a bite out of the cupcake-purposefully from the exact spot where Estrella had just bitten.

His eyes never left hers as he chewed, a sly smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as her face flushed with a mix of anger and embarrassment.

"Delicious," he murmured, the smirk never leaving his face.

"Why would we give the letter to Jo?" Elena asks, folding her arms, while Damon looks uninterested and Estrella seems puzzled.
