Estrella's shoulders trembled, her breath shallow as the weight of everything crashed down on her.
Kai took a cautious step forward, wanting to comfort her, but before he could reach her, Estrella whispered, "You're free to go," her voice shaky but resolute.
She didn't turn around. Her eyes, glistening with unshed tears, were fixated on grass.
"You're free to go," she repeated, this time more firmly, as if giving a command.
The witch, still trembling from the aftermath of the battle, hesitated before slowly stepping away, clearly confused but too frightened to question her unexpected reprieve.
The others with Anthony, Stefan, Damon, even Kai—stood frozen, watching the exchange with bated breath.
But then, in a blink, Estrella vanished from where she stood, only to reappear in front of the retreating witch, blocking her escape.
The sudden movement caught everyone off guard, and the witch's eyes widened in terror, her steps faltering as she backed away, desperately seeking help from Anthony and the others.
They looked on, stunned and uncertain, unsure whether to intervene or let the moment play out.
"Please," the witch whimpered, her voice laced with desperation.
But before she could say anything more, Estrella's magic crackled to life, immobilizing her in place.
A sharp, agonizing scream ripped from the witch's throat as her body twisted in pain, her knees buckling beneath her.
"You said I was free to go!" the witch cried out, her voice strained with terror as she crumpled to the ground, her body convulsing under the force of Estrella's magic.
Estrella's eyes glowed with a cold, predatory red hue.
Tendrils of red magic coiled tightly around the witch's neck, lifting her effortlessly into the air.
The witch's legs dangled helplessly, her fingers clawing at the invisible force constricting her throat.
Estrella's expression remained emotionless, devoid of even the smallest flicker of empathy or hesitation as the witch choked, gasping for breath.
She leaned in close, her voice barely above a whisper but dripping with danger.
"Yes," she hissed, her lips curving into a cruel smile. "You're free to go."
The witch's breath hitched, relief barely surfacing before Estrella added, her tone icy and unforgiving, "To Hell."
With a flick of her wrist, a surge of red magic pulsed through the air, and in one swift motion, Estrella tore the witch's head from her body.
Blood splattered across the ground as the lifeless corpse slumped forward, the violent act eliciting gasps of horror from everyone present.
The silence that followed was deafening, broken only by the sound of Estrella's ragged breathing.
She stood there, blood staining her hands, a cold smirk tugging at the corners of her lips as she gazed down at the fallen witch.
Without so much as a second glance, Estrella picked up the witch's severed head with her magic and flung it carelessly towards Olivia's feet.
Olivia recoiled in shock, her face pale as she stared down at the grisly sight.
"This one's on you," Estrella spat, her voice dripping with disdain, her once gentle features now hardened with rage and pain.
