As Estrella delved into her memories, she began to remember who she was. But suddenly, she was thrown into another vision, and things became blurry as she struggled to focus.
Just before passing out, she heard a woman scream, "Arthur," and saw an ancient book.
Gloria was thrown out of her memory, stunned by what she had witnessed. She was certain she had seen a memory where a woman screamed something unmistakable to those well-versed in witchcraft. The words were imbued with power and significance.
Gloria had heard of reincarnated witches before, but none with magic like Estrella's.
She looked at Estrella, who had passed out, and couldn't help but feel a mix of wonder and concern for the young woman and the powerful magic she possessed.
When Klaus and Stefan arrived, Gloria informed them that Estrella was resting because she was very tired, keeping their activities a secret.
Stefan went outside while Klaus sat down to have a drink until he felt a presence beside him.
"I see they've opened the doors to the riff-raff now," Klaus sneered, his eyes narrowing at Damon.
"Oh, honey, I've been called worse," Damon replied with a smirk.
"You don't give up, do you?" Klaus said, a hint of frustration creeping into his voice.
"Give me my sister and brother back... You'll never have to see me again. Where is she, by the way?" Damon demanded, scanning the room.
Klaus sighed, a faux look of contemplation on his face. "Well, I am torn. You see, I promised Estrella I wouldn't let you and Stefan die, but how many freebies did I really sign up for? And clearly, you want to die. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here, so..."
"What can I say? I'm a thrill-seeker," Damon retorted, his bravado unwavering.
Without warning, Klaus extended his hand and grabbed Damon by the throat, lifting him off the floor with ease. "Oh, dear, what was that? I'm boozy, so you'll forgive me if I miss your heart the first few tries," Klaus taunted as he stabbed Damon in the stomach with a toothpick.
Damon grunted in pain. "Ohh! No, that's not it. Hmm." Klaus stabbed him again, eliciting another pained grunt from Damon.
"Ohh. Almost." Klaus angled the toothpick upwards towards Damon's heart.
"You want a partner in crime? Forget Stefan. I'm so much more fun," Damon choked out, trying to distract Klaus.
Klaus threw Damon backwards. He crashed on top of a table, breaking it, and landed on the ground on his back.
Klaus walked over, ripping a part of the chair off as a makeshift stake. He crouched over Damon.
"You won't be any fun after you're dead. And about Estrella, this is her price to save your pathetic life," Klaus growled. With one hand, he held Damon down and with the other, he raised the stake.
Estrella woke up to the commotion and intervened, her eyes blazing with determination.
She set the stake alight with her powers, causing Klaus to throw it away with a grunt of frustration.
"Enough," Estrella said firmly, her presence commanding the room.
Estrella and Damon locked eyes across the room, relief flooding through both of them as they realized the other was unharmed.
Without a word, Estrella rushed to him, wrapping her arms around her brother in a tight hug.
Damon returned the embrace just as fiercely, "I told you not to be stupid," Estrella says, her voice trembling with emotion.
