Damon wasn't answering Estrella's calls, which frustrated her.

She told Bonnie about a magical way that might help Liz, but Bonnie was uncertain.

Estrella reassured her that they could at least try it for Caroline's sake.

Meanwhile, Caroline discovered that the patient had turned into a vampire, but his condition had worsened.

The cancer cells in his body had intensified, causing him unbearable pain without allowing him to die.

As this unfolded, Kai remained unconscious while Damon kept a close watch over him.

Bonnie assisted Jo with the merge but made it clear she wanted nothing to do with Kai.

Meanwhile, Elena received a new daylight ring crafted by Bonnie.

She urged Damon to return Estrella's calls as his phone was buzzing non-stop with her attempts to reach him.

On Liv and Luke’s 22nd birthday, Joshua arrived at Whitmore to meet his children.

But his mind wasn’t solely on them.

Beneath the composed exterior, fury simmered in his veins. He had come to confront Estrella, to make her answer for what she had done. But first, there were more pressing matters to attend to.

The coven was waiting.

One word from him, and they would descend like a storm—merciless, unrelenting, ready to make Estrella pay for her defiance. There would be no hiding, no escape.

In time, he would ensure she faced the full weight of the consequences she so desperately tried to avoid.

At the same time, Caroline called Stefan and Estrella to her house, shocking them with unexpected news.

They quickly rushed the patient to the hospital, where Estrella attempted to ease his pain using magic. Both were concerned that the same fate could befall Liz, who had also consumed vampire blood.

Jo suggested performing a complete blood transfusion using human blood, but she acknowledged that she couldn't remove the vampire blood already in Liz's system.

This sparked an idea in Estrella. She tried to comfort Caroline, who was overwhelmed with guilt.

Unfortunately, the patient's agony became too much, and Damon, seeing no other option, ended his suffering by killing him.

This upset Caroline deeply. Before Estrella could intervene, she disappeared. Stefan immediately went after her. Elena was left to deliver the tragic news to Liz.

"Where is Kai?" After much thought, Estrella asked.

"It's not the time, sister." Damon, who was done ignoring her, snapped, Elena intervened and calmed him down.

"I need to know where he is, Damon. He could help us." She blurted out her idea, Elena and Damon looked at her, puzzled.

"He's a siphoner who can absorb magic, and vampire blood is..." Estrella began.

"Magic." Elena completed the sentence with her. "You're a genius, Estrella." She exclaimed.

Damon reluctantly agreed to release Kai. Estrella initially wanted to go with him but decided against it.

She knew she had to be careful not to raise suspicions about her and Kai.

Damon went to wake him up and called Liv.

Liv's phone rings, displaying Tyler's name, but it's actually Damon on the line.

"Not a good time," Liv answered curtly.
