**(Long Chapter ahead)**

As Kai turned to leave, Bonnie stepped forward, her voice firm and demanding. "We're not going anywhere until you show me the spell," she said, her tone leaving no room for argument.

Kai paused, his smile growing more suspicious as his eyes narrowed in on her.

Bonnie glared back, her gaze unwavering. "You want my magic, don't you?" she said, holding her arm out toward him in a bold challenge. "Take it."

Kai glanced at Damon, his lips curling into a mocking grin. "Uh-oh, looks like she's being brave."

"I'm serious, Kai!" Bonnie snapped, her frustration boiling over. "Isn't this what you wanted all along? If I do the spell and let us out of here, you'll just take my magic, leave me for dead, and do the spell yourself. So go ahead. Take it all."

Kai’s smile widened, clearly intrigued by her offer. "Well," he said, a spark of amusement dancing in his eyes, "don't mind if I do."

He grabbed Bonnie’s wrist, and the moment he began siphoning her magic, Bonnie let out a piercing scream as the power drained from her body. The pain surged through her, unbearable and overwhelming.

Suddenly, with a flick of his wrist, Kai extended the magic's reach toward Estrella and Damon.

Both of them doubled over, screaming in agony as the spell hit them. Even the stove in the kitchen burst into flames, adding to the chaos.

"Okay, okay! We get it!" Damon shouted through clenched teeth, his body wracked with pain.

Kai finally stopped, releasing them from the torment as he casually remarked, "Now you can see why my coven and I didn’t exactly get along." His tone was light, almost playful, as if the entire ordeal had been nothing more than a fun demonstration.

Bonnie, struggling through the pain, had a sudden realization. Her eyes widened as the pieces fell into place.

"He doesn’t know the spell," she whispered, her voice hardening with determination. "Which means we don’t need him."

Within seconds, chaos broke loose.

Without hesitation, she raised her hand, her gaze locking onto Kai. "Motus!" she shouted, sending a knife hurtling toward him with lethal precision.

But Kai, always one step ahead, reversed the spell in an instant. The knife flew back toward Bonnie, embedding itself in her side with a sickening thud.

"Bonnie!" Estrella cried out, rushing to her, her voice breaking with panic. She knelt beside Bonnie, frantically pressing her hands against the wound, trying to stop the bleeding.

Damon, witnessing the scene, snapped. His eyes blazed with fury. "You bastard!" he roared, launching himself at Kai.

But Kai was quicker. With a cold, calculated motion, he reached out and snapped Damon’s neck.

The crack echoed in the air, and Damon fell lifeless to the ground.

"No! Damon!" Estrella screamed, her voice raw with shock and fury. Without thinking, she lunged at Kai with a knife.

Kai, unfazed, grabbed her wrist in mid-air, attempting to siphon her magic. His smug grin faltered when he realized something was wrong. Try as he might, he couldn’t absorb her power.

Estrella’s magic surface slightly, bursting out of her like a tidal wave. The force of it sent both of them flying apart, crashing into the walls.

The energy was uncontrollable, pure raw power unleashed in a fit of rage.

In the chaos, Estrella slammed her head against the floor, the impact knocking her unconscious.

With Damon lying lifeless and Estrella out cold, only Bonnie and Kai remained. Bonnie, gritting her teeth in pain, blood seeping through her fingers.
