PART-1- Tales of Khaos: The Beginning
Flashback
Once upon a time, Nature, in her boundless wisdom and grace, brought forth the primordial elements-Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Space. From these forces, the world as we know it was shaped, teeming with life in wondrous and diverse forms.
To safeguard this delicate balance and oversee the workings of the cosmos, Nature birthed the divine-immortal yet not invulnerable beings known as gods. Alongside them, she created mortals: fragile, fleeting beings who would one day turn to the gods for guidance and worship.
The gods remained distant for a time, observing the mortal realm from their celestial abodes. But as the ages passed, they descended to the world below, walking among humans, bestowing blessings, and offering their divine favor.
At first, the gods were kind, generous with their gifts, and revered by mortals. However, the gods, in their immortality, grew prideful. Their once benevolent nature turned indifferent, and they became increasingly distant from the plight of humanity.
The needs and struggles of mortals became little more than whispers in the wind lost beneath the weight of the gods' arrogance.
Disillusioned with the gods' aloofness, some humans turned their gaze elsewhere. Instead of praying to the heavens, they began to worship the very essence of life itself-Nature. She embraced these disheartened souls in her infinite compassion, welcoming them with open arms.
To reward their devotion, she granted humanity a gift beyond comprehension, an ability rooted in the very elements from which life was formed. This power, unseen by the gods, was the gift of the mind-a spark that would ignite the rise of the psychics.
Among these psychics were those whose talents transcended the ordinary. They honed their abilities into a new, mysterious art that blended the mind's will with Nature's forces: magic.
These gifted individuals, later known as witches and warlocks, pledged their loyalty not to the gods, but to Nature herself. Their purpose was clear-to use their gifts to help those in need, heal the wounded, protect the weak, and restore balance to the world.
The first of these magical communities was established in ancient Greece and was named the Elysium Coven, a sanctuary for those who followed Nature's path. Word of Elysium spread, and soon, other covens arose in distant lands, each dedicated to preserving the delicate harmony of life and the natural world.
These covens became sanctuaries, where witches and warlocks could learn and practice their craft under Nature's guidance, free from the judgment of gods and men alike.
However, not all who sought the path of magic were welcomed into these sacred circles. Some were denied entry for reasons as varied as their nature-perhaps they lacked discipline, or maybe their intentions did not align with the coven's ideals.
Others, by their own choice, preferred solitude, seeking the freedom to explore magic on their terms. These individuals became known as the lone witches. Whether by choice or circumstance, these witches and warlocks embraced their independence, walking their own path, and mastering their craft without the protection or camaraderie of a coven.
Though these lone witches lived apart, their growing power did not go unnoticed. The gods, watching from their lofty thrones, grew uneasy. They feared that mankind, with their newfound magical abilities, would rise beyond their limits, surpassing their ordained purpose. What was once a quiet worry soon turned to action.
