After a week of recovery and healing, Caroline insisted that Estrella organize a traditional Illumination Night celebration.
As Estrella prepared for the event, she received a large set of painting supplies and a box of her favorite dark chocolate.
Attached was a note with no name, but she knew it was from Niklaus.
Estrella read it quietly, her emotions conflicted. "I wish I could make you understand why I’m doing this. But know this, I never meant to hurt you, and I promise no harm will come to your brothers. I hope you find it in your big heart to forgive me, dear friend."
As always, Mystic Falls was anything but quiet.
The town was now invaded by the spirits of the dead. Fredrick, someone Estrella had killed, sought revenge on her.
Meanwhile, Mason, who had also returned from the dead, was out for vengeance against Damon.
Stefan, however, ignored everything, as his emotions were still switched off. Damon asked Bonnie to find out why the spirits had returned.
Lexi, who had also come back, was helping Elena try to turn Stefan’s humanity back on.
Bonnie eventually discovered that a necklace was the source of the disturbance, and Anna had it.
Elena instructed her to destroy it once they retrieved it.
While Estrella was with Caroline, Fredrick attacked them. However, before she could retaliate, he vanished.
Caroline watched in awe as red swirling magic emanated from Estrella's hand, lighting up the area with its vibrant hue.
"That's so awesome," Caroline exclaimed, her eyes wide with amazement.
Estrella smiled warmly. "Thanks."

Lexi approached Estrella with a friendly smile, her tone warm and welcoming. "You're Estrella? Wow. Stefan’s twinsy—same kind eyes."
Before Estrella could fully react, Lexi pulled her into a hug. The surprise quickly melted into a genuine smile as Estrella hugged her back.
"It's so nice to finally meet you," Lexi said sincerely.
Estrella, touched by the unexpected warmth of the greeting, replied, "It's nice to meet you too, Lexi."
With a reassuring smile, Lexi continued, "Stefan will be fine. I promise. He just needs a little time and support to get through this."
Estrella's eyes widened in surprise. "You managed to trigger his emotions back on?" she asked, her voice full of awe.
Lexi nodded. "It took decades for me to figure out how, but sometimes, it just takes the right connection. I’m glad I could help."
Lexi, noticing the teal color of Estrella’s hair, was surprised.
Feeling a surge of gratitude and a tinge of remorse, Estrella took a deep breath and said softly, "I also want to apologize for Damon. Stefan told me what happened to you, and I’m truly sorry. I can’t thank you enough for looking after Stefan all these years."
Lexi's expression softened with sympathy.
She waved it off with a gentle smile. "Aww, it's not your fault. I’ve heard so much about you—only good things, trust me. It’s just a bit confusing why they call you dangerous."
Lexi chuckled at Estrella's surprised expression. "On the other side, you're kind of a big shot," she said with a playful grin. Before Estrella could ask for more, Lexi disappeared.
