Chapter 3

In the present scenario, Stefan's world was once again rocked by turmoil.

He realised Damon had escaped and turned Vicki into a vampire, a decision that would have dire consequences.

As he searched for her, he encountered trouble in the form of Fell, a founding member, who shot him.

Stefan is saved by Damon but Vicki attacks Fell, her thirst for blood uncontrollable, now fully making her a vampire.

Stefan knew he had to confide in Elena. "Vicki is a vampire," he confessed, his voice urgent.

"We must keep it a secret." He attempted to help Vicki, but her thirst proved overwhelming.

Meanwhile, Caroline gives Bonnie an amber necklace, unaware of its significance.

"It'll go perfectly with your Halloween costume," she chirped.

Vicki, driven by her newfound instincts, crashed the party and attacked Jeremy and Elena.

With no other choice, Stefan intervened, forced to kill her to protect the others.

After the chaos settled, Damon used his compulsion to erase the memory of the incident from Jeremy and Matt's minds, urging them to start anew.

Lexi, Stefan's old friend, arrived in Mystic Falls to celebrate his birthday.

Her presence brought both joy and comfort, especially as it was also the birthday of Stefan's deceased twin.

With her support, Stefan found comfort and strength to confront his past grief and consider rekindling his relationship with Elena.

But Damon had darker plans. He framed Lexi for the murders happening in town, hoping to divert attention away from himself and Stefan.

Outside, the officers and Sheriff are escorting Lexi to the police car when she suddenly throws the officers off.

Sheriff Forbes fired wooden bullets into Lexi.

Just as Lexi seemed poised to retaliate, Damon appeared out of nowhere, swiftly staking her.

Stefan, witnessing the scene, instinctively pulled Elena out of sight.

“Oh my god!” Stefan exclaimed in shock, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Lexi, weak and gasping for breath, turned her gaze to Damon. “Why?” she managed to ask.

Damon leaned in close, whispering, “It’s part of the plan.”

With that, Lexi collapsed to the ground, lifeless. Damon straightened, turning his focus toward the Sheriff.

Outside, Stefan, consumed by anger and horror, began to walk away, his fists clenched.

“Stefan! Stefan!” Elena called after him, desperate to reach him.

“He killed her! He killed Zach; he killed Tanner; he turned Vicki! I have to kill him!” Stefan shouted, his voice laced with fury.

“No, you can’t do that!” Elena pleaded, trying to reason with him.

“Why are you trying to save him?! Elena, he’s never gonna change! Don’t you see that?!” Stefan insisted, frustration boiling over.

“I’m not trying to save him; I’m trying to save you! You have no idea what this will do to you, please, Stefan!” Elena’s voice softened, filled with urgency.

“Everywhere I've been, pain and death follow; Damon follows me. No more,” he replied, his resolve hardening.

“Stefan, please. Just talk to me; let me be here for you. Talk to me,” Elena begged, desperation evident in her tone.
