Noah, Oliver, and Victoria screamed in horror as Cynthia raised the knife, its blade poised to plunge into Estrella's belly.
But as it inched closer, the blade suddenly shattered into pieces, clattering to the ground.
Cynthia shrieked, pulling away as her hands began to burn, the flesh sizzling as if touched by fire.
Shock rippled through the room as a brilliant white light flared around Estrella's stomach, radiating outward.
Before anyone could react, a force surged from her, sending both witches and vampires flying through the air like rag dolls.
Now free, Estrella stood tall, her eyes glowing a furious, burning red.
Rage consumed her, and without hesitation, she unleashed her magic in a savage fury, attacking her enemies without an ounce of mercy.
Blood spilled and bodies twisted grotesquely under her relentless power.
Victoria, Noah, and Oliver could only watch in stunned silence as Estrella's magic spiraled out of control.
What left them truly speechless, however, was what came next.
As Estrella gruesomely slaughtered each witches, her magic shifted.
A deep, ominous red light enveloped the mutilated corpses, and with a flicker, their bodies began to disintegrate.
Not even their ashes remained, vanishing into nothingness as if they had never existed.
"My God," Victoria whispered, her voice trembling with disbelief.
She stared at Estrella, whose expression had darkened with a malevolent glint, a look that could only be described as pure, unbridled evil.
Estrella stopped in her tracks, her fiery anger suddenly extinguished, and her eyes returned to their normal shade.
Even though rage had overtaken her moments before, her hair-usually a barometer of her emotions-hadn't changed.
It was as though she'd been snapped out of a trance.
Realization dawned on her. "Oh my god," she whispered in shock, glancing around at the aftermath of her outburst.
Tears welled up as she clutched her stomach. "What have I done?" she sobbed, her voice trembling.
"Hey, it's okay, Es. Shh, shh," Noah murmured gently, pulling her into his arms.
He held her close, rubbing her back in slow, soothing circles as she cried into his chest.
Estrella turned to Victoria, her voice tinged with both curiosity and concern. "Do you know anything about the ashes or the witches Christina mentioned?"
Victoria shook her head, her brows knitting together in confusion. "I have no idea about any of this," she replied earnestly.
Victoria was quick to escort her home, offering a soft smile and a firm arm around her shoulders.
Noah and Oliver gave them space to allow her time to recover, waiting outside as Victoria helped her freshen up.
Before they left, Noah caught Victoria's arm, his expression turning deadly serious.
"If you hurt her, I'll kill you," he warned, his tone ice-cold.
Victoria smiled, clearly amused by his protectiveness. "Relax. She's safe with me."
Once inside, Estrella had changed and washed the tears from her face, but the trauma of the event lingered.
She sat at the edge of the bed, still crying, the weight of what had happened pressing down on her like a boulder.
