She found a cheap apartment a bit far from the café where she worked, but unable to afford leaving, she continued her job despite the long commute.

With caution and determination, Estrella traveled tirelessly each day, working long shifts to cover the rent.

She refrained from using her magic as she settled into her new routine.

She worked diligently as a cashier, grateful for the job, but found herself sinking into a monotonous routine.

The days blurred together, her life quiet and uneventful as she adjusted to this new chapter, still haunted by the past she had tried so hard to leave behind.

Over time, Estrella began to reflect more deeply on her past, particularly on her relationship with Kai.

She started to see that, despite her love for him, Kai had contributed to their downfall.

He had left her when she needed him most, and she began to question whether she was truly that forgettable—that no one could prioritize her, even when she didn't ask for much.

She missed him terribly, but not once had she used her magic or sought a way to bring him back.

Deep down, she felt she deserved to be alone, a thought that often led to episodes of hysterical crying.

She knew it would take time to forget and forgive Kai for what had happened.

Even though he hadn't known the full extent, he had still tried to harm Jo and her babies.

He had chosen revenge over her, just as Damon had chosen revenge over her happiness.

Slowly, Estrella began to accept that it was okay to live by herself, that it was okay not to expect much from anyone anymore.

It was a painful lesson, but one she was starting to learn—to find strength in her own company and to realize that sometimes, the only person you can truly rely on is yourself.

One day at work, an another alarming incident unfolded.

Georgia, who was serving food, suddenly lost her grip on the tray, causing steaming hot dishes to tumble down onto Estrella and herself.

Both women screamed in pain as the scalding food hit their skin.

In the chaos, Georgia quickly dropped everything to catch Estrella, who was nearly slipping on the spilled food.

"Oh my God, Estrella, are you okay?" Georgia exclaimed, her voice filled with agony as she steadied her.

Estrella winced, pulling herself away slightly, breathless from the shock and the pain.

Instinctively, she placed a protective hand on her belly, her heart pounding.

"Yes, yes," she managed to reply, though her voice wavered as she tried to reassure both Georgia and herself.

Cynthia rushed over upon hearing the commotion.

Her eyes widened in alarm as she took in the scene.

"Estrella, Georgia, are you both okay?" she asked urgently, her gaze flicking between them. "You both should get checked by a doctor, especially you, Estrella."

Georgia, still wincing from the burns, nodded in agreement. "She's right. You need to make sure everything's okay."

Estrella nodded, trying to calm her racing thoughts.

"I will," she promised, though she couldn't shake the growing unease in her chest.

As Cynthia helped them to the back, Estrella glanced around the restaurant, trying to gauge the situation. Estrella noticed her sigh.
