Estrella greeted Lexi with a big hug as she arrived that morning.
"How was the trip? Please tell me you tried the delicious food and enjoyed the scenery," she asked eagerly.
Using her magic, Estrella levitated Lexi's bags to her room.
Stefan had suggested giving Lexi the room across from Estrella's, but she quickly stopped him, her cheeks flushing as she remembered it was the same room that had belonged to Kai in the prison world—the room where they had s—
Shaking off the memory, she quickly said, "That room isn't cleaned yet. I've already prepared the one opposite yours for Lexi."
Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline greeted Lexi as well, while Damon simply nodded in her direction.
Turning back to Estrella, Lexi grinned. "It was amazing. We should plan a girls' trip there sometime. The city is beautiful, but you know what was even better?"
"What?" Elena asked, curious. "We saw the pictures you sent. The city looked gorgeous."
Lexi smirked. "The men. They were beautiful to watch... and to taste. Women taste just as good too."
Damon, Stefan, Jeremy, and Matt, who had come to help at the Salvatore house, groaned in unison.
"Stop, there's a child present here," Damon joked, playfully covering Estrella's ears.
She swatted him away, laughing as the others joined in on the joke.
Lexi pulled out her phone and started showing them pictures of the city and the people she met along the way.
Bonnie's eyes widened as she looked at one of the photos. "Oh, the one in the suit looks good. I should've joined you. I'm so jealous right now."
"Me too," Caroline added, catching Stefan's attention.
"What?" he asked, slightly surprised.
"Me three," Estrella chimed in, causing everyone to look at her in surprise, including Matt and Jeremy.
"He's kinda cute," she said, pointing to a picture of a guy with rings and an ear piercing.
Estrella sighed wistfully. "There's just something about men who wear rings."
Everyone stared at her in shock for a moment before Elena burst out laughing. "Yes, very good, Ella."
"He was married. His wife's blood tasted like pure gold," Lexi shrugged, still smirking.
Estrella, feeling bold, added, "What about the other mens? I'm not talking about blood," she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
As the words left her mouth, Estrella suddenly realized what she had said.
The room fell even quieter, and everyone's eyes widened in disbelief.
This wasn't the Estrella they were used to—the one who would usually turn red at the slightest hint of an embarrassing topic.
"Did she just...?" Bonnie began, her voice trailing off in shock.
Caroline let out a surprised laugh, clearly delighted. "Okay, who is this girl, and where has she been hiding all this time?"
Damon raised an eyebrow. "Blondie, what are you teaching her?" he asked Caroline, who only shrugged with a smirk.
"She's not teaching me anything. I just gave a compliment," Estrella said confidently.
Then, with a sly smile, she added, "Besides, there's nothing wrong with appreciating a good-looking guy, especially one who knows how to accessorize."
Again, the room went silent, and everyone stared at her in shock.
