Estrella rushed to the church where the wedding was taking place, her heart pounding in her chest as she frantically searched for Kai.

As she entered, she could hear the reverend asking Jo for her vows.

"Josette?" the reverend prompted.

Jo chuckled nervously. "Oh god, that's a tough act to follow." Everyone laughed lightly, but Jo's smile quickly faded.

"Here it goes-Alaric Saltzman, you are..." Her voice faltered, and she suddenly gasped loudly, her face contorting in pain.

Alaric's expression shifted from joy to alarm.

"Jo? Jo?" Alaric called out, his voice rising in panic as Jo swayed on her feet, clutching her head in agony. "Oh my god. Jo?"

Jo screamed, the sound ripping through the room as she collapsed forward.

Alaric caught her just in time, holding her tightly as his eyes widened in horror.

Kai uncloaked himself, standing behind her with a cruel smirk playing on his lips.

"I was gonna wait 'til the 'death do us part' bit, but it seemed a little on the nose. Am I right?" he sneered, his voice dripping with dark amusement.

Estrella paled, her heart sinking as she saw Kai.

Across the room, Stefan noticed her, concern etched on his face as he began to move toward her.

Alaric knelt on the ground, cradling Jo, who looked up at Kai with terror in her eyes.

Joshua leapt from his seat and rushed toward them, but Kai raised a hand, and a high-pitched noise filled the air, incapacitating everyone at the ceremony.

They all grabbed their ears, screaming in pain as Kai smiled gleefully.

Estrella gritted her teeth, fighting against the searing agony that pulsed through her head.

He surveyed the terrified guests with a mocking grin. "Miss me? No? Oh well."

The noise intensified, becoming so powerful that all the glasses and windows shattered simultaneously.

Damon and Elena were thrown to the ground by the force, and when Elena hit the floor, her head slammed against it, knocking her unconscious.

He pulled her onto his lap, his face a mask of devastation as the wedding ceremony descended into chaos.

The force of Kai's magic sent everyone flying, their bodies crashing into walls and furniture with brutal force.

Alaric instinctively shielded Jo, but a large shard of glass pierced her back, and her white dress quickly turned into a crimson.

He screamed in despair, cradling her limp body as tears streamed down his face.

"JO? No, no, oh god, no!" he cried, his voice breaking as he removed the glass, the wedding now a scene of unspeakable tragedy.

Amid the chaos, Estrella's bracelet pulsed with protective magic, shielding her from the worst of the destruction.

Her eyes scanned the room desperately, searching for Kai, but he had already vanished into the shadows.

Elena remained unconscious and limped in Damon's arms.

Panic gripped him as he gently shook her.

"Come on. Hey, wake up. Elena?" His voice wavered with worry.
