"It was me," Bonnie confessed, her voice trembling, while Olivia and Anthony stepped forward, chiming in agreement.

Estrella's eyes welled up, her hands trembling as she pressed against the barrier.

Desperation consumed her, and she pounded against the invisible wall, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"No!" she cried, her voice cracking, but before she could break through, Kai intervened.

"Stop!" he rasped, stepping in front of her.

Despite his weakened state, Kai began siphoning the magic, his breath labored, his face pale with effort.

His body shook under the strain, but he pushed on, desperate to break the barrier.

Estrella's fury blazed. Her gaze shifted toward Bonnie, and without thinking, she moved to attack, her magic flaring.

But Enzo and Damon quickly stepped between them, their expressions firm but filled with sorrow.

"Don't do this, love," Enzo urged, his tone softer than usual, his eyes searching hers for any sign of reason.

Damon's jaw clenched as he met Estrella's tearful gaze. "This isn't the way," he muttered, the weight of his words hanging in the tense air.

Estrella's heart clenched as she teared up, her shoulders shaking with emotion.

She exchanged a sorrowful glance with Damon, her eyes pleading with him to understand the depth of her pain.

"It's for the greater good, Estrella. We'll all help you get your children back. Please, don't make any hasty decisions," Jo pleaded, stepping forward with her voice heavy with empathy.

"The greater good?" Estrella whispered, her voice breaking. Her gaze slowly shifted to Kai, who watched her with sorrow etched across his face.

Her voice trembled, thick with bitterness and anguish as she spoke, her heart laid bare. "Haven't I done enough? Why is it always me who has to think about the greater good? And every time I do, I end up with scars that never heal, wounds that cut deeper than any magic."

Her words hung in the air, laden with the weight of her past. She took a shaky breath and continued, her tone darkening with each memory she recalled.

"Was it for the greater good that my parents used dark magic just to conceive me, damning me from the very start? Was it for the greater good that Astraea, a child, was branded a dangerous witch before she even had a chance to choose her own path? Or what about my own coven, the people who were supposed to protect me, rejecting me as their leader because they saw me as an abomination?" Her voice cracked, the hurt seeping into every syllable.

Her hands balled into fists as she pressed on, unable to stop the flood of emotions. "Was it for the greater good that my family and I were forced to wander, always on the run, only for me to lose my father and then my mother? The murders were planned by our leader, driven by his own trauma and thirst for revenge. He orchestrated everything, but who was the one that got cursed?-forced to wander, searching for her soulmate, doomed to endure the same unbearable pain the witch who cursed suffered-Me." Her voice faltered as the weight of her past pressed down on her, each word carrying the bitterness of her soul.

Kai's head snapped up, his eyes widening in shock.

This was the first time he had heard of this. "Wait... what?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper, the revelation hitting him like a blow to the chest.

Her body shook with the weight of her suffering, her words pouring out like poison. "Then it was supposedly for the greater good that I was punished for a crime I didn't commit-burned to death for something I had no part in. Was it truly for the greater good that the curse, relentless and absolute, forced me to be reborn again and again, to fulfill a purpose I was never even aware of, while my true power lay dormant within me?" Estrella's voice trembled as her anguish spilled out, her hands shaking as she relived the torment of her past.
