Anthony handed Estrella a vial of the father's blood-the man whose three-year-old daughter had gone missing.
As soon as her fingers wrapped around the vial, her eyes flickered with a menacing red fury.
The rage boiled inside her, and she had to fight the overwhelming urge to rip Joshua apart for the heinous crimes he was committing.
Her heart broke as she thought about the parents' agony, imagining herself in their position.
The mere thought of anything happening to her own twins made her stomach twist with dread.
She quickly shook her head, forcing herself to focus on the task at hand.
Now wasn't the time for emotion; she had to channel her magic, to find the hostages and put an end to Joshua's cruelty.
The three of them moved swiftly into the night, ready to put their plan into motion.
At first, it felt like an invisible force was preventing Estrella from pinpointing the location she was searching for, as though powerful magic was deliberately shielding it from them.
Every locator spell they cast was blocked, rebounding off an unseen barrier as if the location itself was cloaked in an impenetrable veil.
After examining the situation more closely, Anthony was the first to realize it wasn't just any spell obstructing them-it had to be Joshua.
"Joshua must have sealed it," Anthony muttered, studying the magical interference. "He's always been one for clever tricks."
Oliver frowned, casting a worried glance at Estrella, who was growing more frustrated with each failed attempt. "Then how do we break through?"
Anthony's eyes shifted thoughtfully to the twins, who were watching TV nearby, oblivious to the tension.
"We can use something of theirs," he suggested. "Blood is out of the question, but their connection to Joshua should be enough to disrupt his spell."
Estrella hesitated but nodded, realizing this might be their only chance.
Carefully, she plucked a single strand of Eleanor's hair from her brush, and with a deep breath, she began channeling her magic through it, weaving it into the locator spell.
The air around them pulsed with energy as Estrella concentrated, her power now mingling with Eleanor's essence.
With a sudden surge, the barrier that had been blocking them moved, revealing the hidden location, though only for a brief moment.
The blood on the map moved, stopping at the marked spot, but almost instantly, the barrier reformed, concealing the location once again.
They breathed a sigh of relief. At least they had the location, even if it was fleeting.
Lexi's eyes narrowed as recognition dawned on her.
She stared at the revealed mansion, her breath catching for a moment.
"I know this place," she muttered, her voice tinged with unease. "It's the same mansion where I killed that witch... four years ago."
Joshua would no doubt sense the moment the seal was disrupted, and they couldn't afford to take any chances.
The plan was simple but could easily spiral into chaos.
They needed to get to the location before Joshua or his allies had time to react.
The vampires, Noah and Lexi will handle the rescue of the children.
Their supernatural speed and strength made them the best candidate for getting them out safely and quickly.
