Back at the hospital, the atmosphere was heavy with tension as Stefan, Elena, and Estrella received the devastating news about Liz's tumor.

The gravity of the situation weighed on them and they struggled on how they would break the heart-wrenching news to Caroline.

As Estrella stood in the hallway, lost in thought and contemplating the best way to approach Caroline, her phone buzzed.

It was Damon. Confusion flickered across her face as she answered.

"Damon? What's going on?" Estrella asked, her voice tinged with worry.

"You need to come home. To Mystic Falls," Damon's tone was urgent but calm, a combination that immediately put her on edge.

"Mystic Falls?" she repeated, unsure if she'd heard him correctly. "We can't go back there. The anti-magic border-"

"It's safe now," Damon interrupted, his voice firm. "We can enter the town. You need to come home. Now."

Estrella hesitated, glancing back toward the room where Liz was resting, with Caroline just outside the door, unaware of the grim news about to shatter her world.

Every instinct told her to stay, to be there for Caroline when she needed her most, but something in Damon's voice told her this was urgent.

"Okay," she finally agreed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be there soon."

After leaving Caroline in Stefan's care, she hurried back to Mystic Falls, her mind racing with thoughts of what awaited her.

When she finally arrived home, she found the Salvatore house eerily quiet.

As she entered, she immediately sensed that something was wrong.

Damon and Bonnie, who was back, were waiting for her in the living room, their expressions grim.

He leaned back with a mocking smile, his tone dripping with sarcasm as he addressed Estrella. "Well, well, my dear sister, do you have any secrets to share? Something quite interesting happened today that brought us back to Mystic Falls. Want to guess what it was?"

Estrella sighed nervously, sensing where this conversation was headed.

Bonnie, rolling her eyes at Damon's tone, turned to her. "Estrella, why did you lie to us?"

Trying to dodge the question, she kept her voice steady, though her purple hair betrayed her nervousness.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," she replied.

Damon's mood shifted suddenly, anger flashing in his eyes. "So, you didn't make a reckless decision by releasing a sociopathic little magic-sucking witch? And even more stupid that he can siphon your magic now? How the hell did that happen?"

Damon continued, "Let me give you a hint—we're talking about Kai. He's out, back in Mystic Falls, and he wants to kill his twin."

Estrella wasn't surprised to hear that Kai was in town. She sighed and admitted, "Yes, I did free him. And yes, he can siphon my magic because I willed him to do so. Do you want to know why? He saved my life when his horrible father tried to kill me."

Both Damon and Bonnie looked shocked. "What? What are you talking about?" he asked.

Estrella explained, "I don't know how his father found out that I have your blood, but he did. He mind-controlled Kai into killing me before I could tell him about it. If I died, I couldn't get out, and neither could Kai."

She continued, "He stabbed me, but I snapped him out of the spell. In a panic, I told him he had to take my magic. Fortunately, he was able to siphon it and heal me."
