Kai sat across from Estrella, his usual sarcasm replaced with a genuine concern as she shared her worries about Clarice's mom.

"If my magic can't help, then what's the point of it?" she murmured, her voice laced with frustration and helplessness.

To his own surprise, Kai found himself knowing just what to say.

"Not everything can be fixed with magic," he began gently. "We like to think we have all this power, but sometimes... that's just not the reality. It's a bitter truth, but it's still the truth."

Estrella's eyes searched his, hoping for comfort.

Kai continued, his tone steady, "But there's another kind of power we don't give enough credit to-our own strength and the strength of those around us. Clarice's mom knows her daughter will be surrounded by people who love her, who will help her through the tough times. That's why she's letting go."

He let the words settle before adding, "The hardest part now is moving on. It's not easy to tell yourself it's okay to be sad and then to actually move forward. But sometimes, all it takes is one person to pull you out of that darkness. Just one person, and it can change everything."

A small smile tugged at his lips. "It'll be hard, but Clarice has you, Stephan, and the rest of the Scooby gang. She'll be okay."

Estrella blinked at him in astonishment. "Who are you, and what have you done with Kai?"

He chuckled, taking her hand and placing it over his chest. "He's right here."

"How did you get so wise?" she asked, still processing his uncharacteristic insight.

"There's someone in my life who's pretty amazing at what she does. It's a shame how often people overlook that," he replied, a teasing glint in his eyes.

Then, more seriously, he added, "Plus, I've been paying good money to her. I'd be pretty disappointed if it didn't help."

She looked at him, surprised. "Wait, what?"

"My therapist,? I'm talking about my therapist. The old lady is pretty good at what she does," Kai said casually.

"You're going to therapy?" she whispered, as if the idea was foreign to her.

Kai nodded, a bit puzzled by her reaction.

"Yeah, I figured I could use it. Better to get professional help than keep relying on Google, which always ends up convincing me I have cancer," he said with a wry smile.

Estrella's expression softened, a warm, proud smile crossing her face.

She squeezed his hand, hoping her eyes could convey just how much admiration she felt for him.

For the next two months, Estrella and Kai's relationship blossomed into something more profound, though they remained careful to keep it hidden from prying eyes.

Their time together was a blend of laughter, banter, and unexpected tenderness-each moment a secret treasure they both cherished.

On one of their cozy movie nights, they settled in to watch the Harry Potter series.

As they cuddled on the couch, Kai playfully pointed out, "You know, you really remind me of Tonks with that hair of yours, always changing color."

Estrella chuckled, brushing a strand of her blue hair behind her ear. "Maybe they got the character's inspiration from me."

Kai's eyes sparkled with mischief as he leaned in closer. "Next, they'll probably create a superhero based on you because, honestly, that's what you are."
