The wedding venue was alive with excitement. Guests mingled around the beautifully decorated hall, the air filled with joyful chatter, clinking glasses, and the sound of soft music.

Everyone was dressed in their finest, the air electric with anticipation for the union of Caroline and Stefan.

Kai stood near the entrance, his hands tucked into his suit pockets, looking just a little out of place amidst the well-dressed attendees.

He scanned the crowd, his usually composed demeanor betraying a hint of nervousness.

"Who invited him to the wedding?" Jo teased, nudging Alaric lightly. "They must not know he gets an itch when he sees a happy bride."

Alaric, standing nearby, paled slightly at the reminder, but Kai forced a chuckle, masking the brief flicker of guilt in his eyes. "Relax, Jo," he replied with a smirk, keeping his tone light. "Clarice's the bride. Anyone would be a fool to mess with her."

As Kai turned away from the teasing exchange, his eyes immediately locked onto Estrella across the room.

She was radiant in a stunning satin jade-green dress, the fabric catching the light and making her glow.

His heart skipped a beat, his usual swagger momentarily faltering as he made his way toward her, unable to look away.

"Wow, pumpkin," Kai said, his voice filled with genuine admiration as he approached her. "It's not fair to Clarice. She's the bride, and you can't just show up looking this stunning. Leave some sparkle for the rest of us, will you?"

Estrella's cheeks flushed a soft pink, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Thank you," she replied, her smile warm. "And you clean up pretty well yourself."

Kai chuckled, a rare blush creeping up his neck as he adjusted the lapel of his suit. "I'm glad you think so."

There was a moment of quiet between them, the kind that felt heavy with unspoken things. Estrella took a small step closer, her voice dropping slightly. "I want to meet Bonnie," she said, her tone serious now. "And I want to help you both break the spell and wake Elena."

Kai blinked, visibly taken aback by her words. "You... you want to help?" His voice was laced with surprise, as though the idea of her wanting to get involved hadn't even crossed his mind.

Estrella nodded, her resolve evident. "Yes, I do. It's time to put the past behind us, Kai. We need to move forward."

Without waiting for a response, she leaned in and kissed him-brief, but full of meaning. The gesture was soft yet firm, conveying her affection and determination.

Kai stood frozen for a moment, his mind still processing the kiss and her unexpected words. He watched her leave, still stunned, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

Taking a deep breath, Estrella made her way to Stefan's room, her heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and nerves.

She opened the door and stepped inside. Stefan stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his tuxedo, while Damon fussed over his hair, making sure every strand was perfectly in place.

"Do not fuss over his hair, Damon," Estrella teased as she stepped into the room, her smile slightly. "He already has 'hero hair.'"

Both brothers turned to look at her, momentarily stunned by her presence. Damon recovered first, a grin spreading across his face.

"Hello, Ella. You look beautiful," he greeted her, his voice slightly nervous as he took in her appearance.

"Thank you," Estrella replied, her smile soft as she acknowledged Damon's compliment. "You two cleaned up yourselves well."
