The next day, early in the morning, Chase had got up early to surprise his girlfriend for their first Valentine's Day. What he did not know was that Maddie was pretending to sleep when he left to teleport away as soon as he closed the bedroom door.

An hour later, the bionic boy walked back into the room and put a tray down on his desk with a bouquet of red and white roses. He opened the curtains, letting the light in, and looked at his bed but did not see anyone.

- "Baby?" He called out.

The invisible quadbrid walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist as she turned visible.

- "Hey." She smiled softly, a bouquet of red roses and baby breath in one of her hands.

The Davenport boy blushed slightly, a smile creeping in on his face.

- "We had the same idea." He said.

- "Duh. We are soul mates." The Matthews girl kissed his clothed shoulder blade, sending shivers down his spine.

The green hazel-eyed boy took the bouquet and smelled it.

- "Mmm. I love this smell." He replied.

The blue-eyed girl smelled his perfume, her eyes closed.

- "Mmm. Me too." She nodded.

Chase put his bouquet on the desk next to hers, before turning into her arms.

- "Happy Valentine's Day, darling." He cupped her face.

- "Happy Valentine's Day, my love." Maddie smiled widely, her hands on each of his cheeks.

The bionic boy smiled back with the intensity, before kissing her lips tenderly, pouring all his love into the kiss.

The quadbrid hummed, happily into the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck.

The Davenport boy snaked his arms around her waist, pressing her flush against him, leaving no space between them, the world around them disappearing.

The Matthews girl pulled away and took her bouquet, smelling the roses.

- "Thank you." She said.

- "Thank you for mine." The green hazel-eyed boy brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

- "You're welcome." The blue-eyed girl put the bouquet down, before walking to the bathroom for a second and coming out with two vases filled with water.

Chase chuckled softly.

- "You had planned everything." He shook his head, amused.

- "Yep." Maddie put the vases down, before putting the bouquets in each of them.

- "Skylar is in the kitchen cooking for Bree." The bionic boy sighed. "So, I couldn't cook for you. I woke up early to have the kitchen."

- "But she woke up even earlier." The quadbrid chuckled.

- "Yeah." The Davenport boy nodded. "So, I got you French pastries instead."

- "Mmm. Yes!" The Matthews girl smiled. "And I got you... Raisin breads. I still have no idea why you like that, but..." She shrugged, handing him one from a paper bag.

- "Hey, this is delicious." The green hazel-eyed boy took a bite.

- "We don't have the same definition." The blue-eyed girl mocked, taking a bite of pain au chocolat.
