One second later, the geniuses arrived in their house in their alter ego's universe.

Maxwell was running after Marie, chasing her after she had attacked him.

- "Aw, my babies." Maddie smiled as she put the large box down and walked to the kitchen to take a vase, filling it up with water.

Chase put the bouquet in it.

- "Okay, now, you go see them." He put his hands on her shoulders. "But don't stay too long because you need to rest. Meanwhile, I'll cook, and then we'll open our Christmas presents, and we'll have a nice dinner. What do you say?"

- "I think it's a great plan, my love." The quadbrid nodded.

- "Thank you." The bionic boy blushed slightly and handed her the interdimentional extrapolator. "Now, go."

- "Yes, sir." The Matthews girl saluted and took the device, before pecking his lips.

The Davenport boy rolled his eyes, amused.

The blue-eyed girl chuckled.

- "And you tell them that they are invited tomorrow night for dinner." The green hazel-eyed boy said.

- "Got it." Maddie nodded and opened a portal to the inside of the house of their alter egos.

I really hope they are not having sex because I need to go inside their house to surprise them, and I don't wanna see that again. She walked through it.

- "Let's do this." Chase clapped his hands together.

A couple of minutes earlier, at the Captain and General Davenport's house. Chase was in his music room. He was tuning his guitar while writing something in his music notebook.

His expression was serious and somewhat downcast, summing up his expression over the past few days. He played a chord and rested the guitar on his lap, pulling the sleeves of his green plaid shirt up to his forearms.

While doing this, he bumped his knee into the notebook that was on the couch, dropping it. Out of the notebook fell his pen and the picture he had taken from Maddie's room.

He picked up the notebook and the picture from the floor and sighed sadly. I miss you so much. He leaned on the guitar and looked at It, thoughtful when the General entered the room.

- "Hey." She said, still wearing her Mighty Force uniform.

Chase looked up at her and smiled, putting the picture back in the notebook.

- "Hey, I was just going to get you out of that office." He smirked, and she wrinkled her nose, putting his guitar aside.

- "Sorry, I had a setback with some soldiers in training." Harper said, sitting on his lap. "But now, I'm here." She leaned in, giving him a firm kiss on the lips.

- "Good." The Captain smiled against her lips and pressed a kiss on her cheek.

The General hugged his neck as he rested a hand on her waist.

They pulled away, and Chase rested his forehead on hers.

- "How are you?" Harper asked.

- "Not 100%." The Captain smiled faintly.
