(Y/n) paced around the living room, her heart hammering in her chest as she wrestled with the thoughts swirling in her mind. The TV, which had been broadcasting the unsettling news just moments before, was now switched off. Yet, the tension lingered thick in the air. Yuuto and Kai had sat quietly on the couch, Reina lingering in the archway, their eyes following (Y/n)'s anxious movements, as if waiting for her to say something, to come to some conclusion. But the girl could barely keep up with the racing thoughts in her head.

Meanwhile, Keiji seemed entirely unaffected by the weight of the situation. He was crouched down and peering under the couch, still hunting for his "favorite lamp" as if that was the biggest concern of the moment.

Yuuto finally broke the silence with a heavy sigh, his voice measured but cautious. "Okay, let's just see if we've got the facts straight. Iwasaki brothers? The same surname as Minato?"

Kai nodded, his face bare of any makeup or piercings for once, which only seemed to make the conversation feel more serious. "Yeah... I've met them a few times. They were always chill. Not like how (Y/n) described them."

At Kai's words, (Y/n) snapped her head toward him, her voice sharp and cutting through the room. "That was them. I'm sure of it."

Reina stood near the archway, her arms crossed as she ran a hand absentmindedly over her braid, her expression thoughtful. "But why would they chase (Y/n), only to kill each other later? It doesn't make sense."

Yuuto leaned back in his seat, his eyes narrowing as he tried to piece together the puzzle. "I'm thinking Minato set that up. She got suspended, and knowing her, she went to her brothers to see if they could get revenge on (Y/n) for her. But when that didn't work... well, that's when things get fuzzy."

Kai scoffed, the sound heavy with skepticism. "Minato wouldn't have killed her brothers. She loves them."

The blond rolled his eyes, not backing down from his theory. "I'm not saying she killed them. One of them's still missing, anyway."

Reina, who had been silent for a while, now wore a sad expression. Her voice was softer when she finally spoke. "Kai, maybe you should give Minato a call. She's probably going through a rough time..."

Kai's face twisted at the suggestion, a sour look overtaking his features. "Don't you hate Minato?"

Reina gave him a scolding look, her brows furrowing in disapproval. "I may not be a fan of hers, but I can't imagine how I'd feel if I lost Souta."

At that, Keiji, who had been rummaging through the drawers of the cabinets, perked up. He glanced over at Reina with a curious grin. "That's only because you're twins! Don't twins have, like... telepathy?"

Yuuto sighed, his eyes landing on Keiji, who was still rummaging through the room, entirely unconcerned with the gravity of the situation. "You're not taking this seriously at all," Yuuto said, his tone a mix of frustration and disbelief.

Keiji straightened up with a nonchalant shrug, completely unfazed. "Why would I? They got what was coming to them. Plus, mulling over it isn't going to change anything. Wouldn't the more productive thing be finding the missing one?" He pointed toward the TV, now dark and silent, before bending down to check behind it for his elusive lamp.

Kai rolled his eyes, his irritation bubbling to the surface. "Dude, you're more focused on that lamp than on what actually happened."

Keiji's eyes narrowed, his voice sharp. "Of course I am! I actually liked that lamp."

Yuuto waved his hands dismissively at Keiji. "Looking for it is pointless. Asahi mentioned he broke it after losing a game."

At the sound of Asahi's name, (Y/n) was pulled from her trance, blinking in surprise. Keiji's jaw dropped in mock horror, his eyes widening dramatically. "Oh, he did not! He's about to lose more than just a game!" Keiji announced, ready to bolt from the room to go deal with the gray haired boy.
