The door creaked open, the heavy air of the basement seeming to thicken as Yuuto stepped through the threshold. His golden hair, perfectly tousled as always, gleamed under the flickering light. He looked immaculate - too perfect, too untouched - as if the chaos of the night hadn't fazed him at all. A thin, unsettling smile curled on his lips, and in that moment, the only sound was the slow click of the door shutting behind him.

(Y/n) felt a sharp wave of fury rise within her, cutting through the fear that knotted her chest. Her heart pounded violently, not from fear, but pure, unfiltered rage. Yuuto had put her through hell, through all of this, and now he stood there, calm and collected, as if everything had gone exactly according to plan.

"You know, you're really hard to catch," Yuuto murmured, his voice a silk-smooth hum that slithered around her nerves. He stepped closer, his footsteps deliberate and measured. "But... here we are."

(Y/n) bared her teeth at him, her hands pulling uselessly against the zip ties. She refused to let him see her fear, refused to give him the satisfaction. "Go to hell," she hissed, venom dripping from every word.

Yuuto's smile widened as he crouched beside her. "Already there, sweetheart," he whispered, brushing a strand of hair from her sweat-dampened forehead with an almost affectionate touch. The gesture made her stomach churn. "Now, let's make sure you're not too eager to run off again, hm?"

Before she could react, his hand clamped onto her injured ankle. A white-hot surge of pain shot through her leg, and (Y/n) gasped involuntarily. He twisted the swollen joint slowly, deliberately, like he was savoring the way her body jerked against the metal bed.

"Shhh," he whispered, his voice dripping with mock sympathy. "You shouldn't have run. You know you're not built for it." He twisted the ankle again, harder this time.

(Y/n) bit down on her lip so hard she tasted blood, refusing to scream. She would not give him the satisfaction of hearing her cry out. Her breathing was ragged, each exhale burning in her chest, but she managed to glare at him through the haze of pain. "You're a coward," she spat. "You think this makes you strong?"

Yuuto's grin sharpened, as if her resistance was exactly what he wanted. "I think it makes me patient." He gave her ankle one more cruel twist before releasing it, leaving her to writhe in agony as the throbbing pulsed through her leg.

"Now," Yuuto said softly, brushing dust from his sleeve as though they were having a casual conversation, "let's take care of those feet of yours. They look... messy."

(Y/n)'s heart pounded, adrenaline flooding her veins as Yuuto knelt at the foot of the bed. Her toes curled instinctively as he grabbed her foot with a firm, cold grip.

He leaned closer, his golden hair falling into his eyes as he studied the embedded glass shards in her soles. "You've been through so much," he cooed softly, almost lovingly. His hand ran along the arch of her foot as if he were soothing her, the contrast making her skin crawl.

And then, without warning, he pinched the edge of a glass shard and yanked.

(Y/n) choked on a scream, the shard dragging painfully through the torn skin. A line of blood welled up immediately, the wound burning like fire. But Yuuto didn't stop. He twisted the jagged shard as he pulled it, making sure it sliced deeper as it left her skin.

"Ahhh... there we go," he murmured, holding the bloodied fragment between his fingers like it was a trophy. He tilted his head, studying her pained expression with fascination. "Doesn't that feel better? Clean, even." His eyes gleamed. "I bet you'll thank me later."

"You're insane," (Y/n) growled through clenched teeth. Her vision blurred from the pain, but anger kept her conscious, kept her stubbornly alert. She kicked weakly at him with her other foot through the ties, but it was no use, her strength was drained, her body barely holding on after the crash, the injury, the hunger.
