(Y/n) walked faster, her heart pounding, refusing to acknowledge the persistent presence at her heels. Asahi was getting on her nerves. He furrowed his brow when she didn't answer, frustration evident in his voice as he called out again, "(Y/n)." His tone was more insistent now, but she still ignored him, turning down another hallway without a second thought. She didn't care if it wasn't the way to her homeroom, she just wanted to get away from him.

A groan escaped him as he sprinted to catch up with her. "I'm talking to you," he said, as if that would somehow make her stop and listen. But his words fell on deaf ears.

A flicker of amusement crossed his face as an idea sparked in his mind. She was turning into whichever hallway was furthest from him, trying to lose him. If he played this right, maybe he could use that to his advantage. He masked his smirk behind an exaggerated sigh of annoyance, watching as she veered down yet another hallway, attempting to avoid him. Perfect.

"As usual, you're just running," Asahi muttered, keeping up the act as he followed her. He began subtly guiding her, directing her movements without her even realizing it. Every time she thought she was escaping, he was quietly funneling her where he wanted her to go.

They turned down one more hallway, and his smirk deepened when they were finally in the perfect spot. Without warning, he lunged forward, gripping her shoulders firmly. (Y/n) tensed up, her body stiffening under his fingers, and she instinctively tried to pull away, but he was too strong. He pushed her towards a door - one she hadn't even noticed in her rush to escape - and before she could react, he shoved her inside.

Her heart raced, and she yanked herself free from his grip just as Asahi shut the door behind them, the sound of it closing reverberating in the room like a lock sealing them in.

The moment the lights flickered on, (Y/n) whirled around, her eyes blazing with fury. "What the hell is your problem?" she hissed, glaring at him. She could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins, her fists clenched at her sides. But Asahi didn't seem fazed by her anger. In fact, he smirked, clearly satisfied with himself.

"Relax. Look," he said, gesturing around the room with a lazy wave of his hand.

(Y/n) hesitated for a moment, still seething, but her eyes couldn't help but wander. She glanced around, taking in her surroundings for the first time. They were in one of the school's music rooms, and it was unlike anything she expected. The room was expansive, much larger than the typical classroom, with high ceilings that made it feel almost cathedral-like.

Above them, a large skylight allowed soft, natural light to filter into the room. The sunlight illuminated the space with a warm, golden glow, creating an atmosphere that felt strangely calm, completely at odds with the situation. She could see the faint outline of clouds drifting across the sky above, casting gentle shadows on the floor. For a brief moment, she was distracted by the sight, but her tension didn't fade.

The walls were lined with soundproof padding, dark panels that absorbed any echoes and created a sense of quiet intimacy in the room. Instruments were scattered around in various states of use: a grand piano sat proudly in the corner, its sleek black surface gleaming beneath the skylight. A set of drums rested nearby, the cymbals catching the light just right. Along the walls, guitars hung from racks, their strings gleaming in the soft light, while shelves held violins, flutes, and even a few brass instruments.

Music stands were neatly arranged in a semi-circle, and a conductor's podium stood at the front of the room. Everything was organized, almost pristine, like it was waiting for the next rehearsal or performance. But the room wasn't entirely devoid of personality; posters of famous musicians and bands were tacked onto the walls, faded from years of use. A worn, slightly faded red couch sat in one corner, a place where students likely lounged when they needed a break from practice.
