(Y/n) sat on her bed long after Kai had left, her arms wrapped loosely around her knees as her mind spun in circles. It was exhausting recognizing faces and voices, yet being unable to attach real memories to them. Like having puzzle pieces but no picture to guide her. She wanted to remember them, desperately, but the harder she tried to pull something from the haze, the more elusive it became.

She exhaled, feeling the pressure build behind her eyes. Her room, the bed, the decorations, all of it was familiar, but it still felt distant, like she was living in someone else's life.

Her spiral was interrupted by the sound of her door creaking open. She lifted her head slowly, her heart stuttering with both hope and wariness. When she saw who it was, her tension melted away into something softer.

A small smile tugged at her lips. Yuuto. Finally, someone she knew.

Yuuto noticed her smile immediately, his smirk playing on the edges of his lips like it was second nature. "Like your room?" he asked, his tone light, but there was something searching in his gaze.

She nodded softly.

"Good." He stuffed his hands into his pockets, shifting his weight slightly. "But right now, it's dinner time."

That's when it hit her- she was hungry. Her stomach twisted slightly, and she wondered how long it had been since she'd eaten. It felt odd that Yuuto wasn't carrying her meal like he usually did. He'd been bringing her every bite she needed for... for however long they'd been here. The thought unsettled her slightly, but she didn't dwell on it for too long.

Yuuto extended his hand toward her. Something was reassuring about the way he moved, like he'd done this a thousand times before. Without hesitation, she closed the distance between them and placed her hand in his.

He smiled down at her, a small, warm expression that made her feel safe in the most unexpected way. "Come on," he said softly.

They exited her room, his hand never leaving hers as they made their way down the hall and descended the grand staircase. The stairs groaned beneath their steps, and (Y/n) felt the slight tremor in her legs from disuse. But Yuuto didn't rush her. He moved slowly, his thumb brushing over her knuckles every now and then as if to remind her that he was still there.

They reached the bottom, and he led her through an archway leading to what looked to be a dining room. The soft hum of conversation died abruptly when they entered. Five pairs of eyes turned toward her.

The girl's steps faltered. She wasn't expecting anyone else to be here.

The orange haired boy, the one with the endless chatter, always full of energy, looked like he was about to speak, but Yuuto shot him a warning look that shut him up instantly.

Yuuto guided (Y/n) toward a chair, seating her carefully in the middle, where she found herself sandwiched between a boy with dark brown hair and another with striking purple hair. She stiffened slightly at the proximity, her hands curling in her lap, feeling the weight of everyone's attention.

Across from her, Yuuto sat down directly in front of her, his presence steady and unwavering. To his right sat the orange haired boy, and to his left was the boy with the piercings- Kai. Sitting at the far end of the table was someone new, a boy with gray hair that shimmered faintly in the dim light. He seemed more reserved than the others, quietly observing her without saying a word.

(Y/n) glanced down at her plate, her brows furrowing in mild surprise when she saw that it was filled with her favorite food.

The orange haired boy noticed her expression immediately and grinned. "I was going to give you ice cream for dinner, but Yuuto wasn't having it," he said with a dramatic pout, clearly waiting for her reaction.
