As soon as (Y/n) felt Asahi's lips on hers, instinct took over. Without thinking, she pushed him away with all the force she could muster. Asahi stumbled backward, falling off the couch and landing hard on the floor. His eyes widened in shock as he propped himself up on one elbow, staring at her in disbelief.

"What the hell?!" Asahi shouted, rubbing the back of his head, his expression a mix of confusion and frustration.

(Y/n) wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, her heart still racing from the suddenness of it all. "I should be asking you that!" she shot back, her voice sharp as she stood up from the couch, glaring down at him. "What are you doing?!"

Asahi scoffed, his face twisting in annoyance as he tried to process her reaction. "What did it look like I was doing? Why would you push me?" He sounded more wounded by the rejection than physically hurt.

(Y/n) mirrored his incredulous look, her hands clenched at her sides. "Asahi... I don't like you like that," she said firmly, the words hanging in the air between them. She could feel her pulse pounding in her ears, and she forced herself to take a calming breath. "And besides, I already told you earlier, I'm going on a date tomorrow." Her voice softened slightly, but her stance remained defensive.

Asahi grumbled, rising to his feet slowly, dusting himself off with a dark scowl. "Yeah, I remember." He took a step closer, his glare narrowing. "You're not going."

(Y/n) let out an exasperated sigh, crossing her arms over her chest. "Yes, I am. Taro is a nice guy," she said, standing her ground, though she couldn't shake the unease creeping up her spine.

Asahi's eyes flashed with anger. "So am I!" he shot back, his voice low and intense, the words carrying a weight of frustration.

(Y/n) shook her head, taking a step back as he stepped closer. "I'm not so sure about that," she muttered, her voice tight with restraint. Her mind was racing- this wasn't the Asahi she was used to dealing with. There was something darker in his tone, a bitterness that unnerved her.

"What do you mean by that?" Asahi's voice dropped, dangerously calm, as he stared her down, taking another step toward her.

(Y/n) let out a huff of frustration, trying to keep her temper in check. "You're always invading people's personal space," she said, her voice growing firmer. "And you don't respect boundaries. You think you can just do whatever you want."

Asahi rolled his eyes, dismissing her words as if they were nothing more than an annoying buzz in his ear. "So that's how you think of me?" he spat, crossing his arms. "You were giving me signs all night!"

(Y/n) clenched her fists, biting back the sharp retort she wanted to throw at him. She didn't want this to escalate any further, but Asahi wasn't giving her a choice. "No, I wasn't. I just didn't comment on your actions because I didn't want things to get out of hand. Like they are now!"

"Oh, but you'd let them escalate with Taro, wouldn't you?" Asahi's words were laced with bitterness, his voice dripping with jealousy.

"Asahi, you need to stop!" (Y/n)'s voice cut through the tension in the room, her frustration bubbling over. "You and I are not a thing! We never have been, and we never will be."
