You held onto Kuroo tight as he walked the trail back to the cabin. He seemed to be a lot less concerned now that you were doing alright. You were comfortable being so close to him. Everything about him was safe and comforting.

As Kuroo walked you glanced over at Kayo who was desperately brushing dirt off of her phone screen. You were glad that it hadn't broken when she dropped it to run over to you. She probably hadn't even given the phone a second thought in the moment but you would have felt awful if she had broken it.

You turned your attention over to Yaku. He had caught you but you didn't remember it happening. He hadn't said a word to you since you had regained consciousness. Unlike the other two he seemed to still be very bothered by the whole situation. You noticed the way he was fidgeting with his fingers and how wide his eyes still were. It must have been scary for him being right there beside you when it had happened. You made a mental note to check up on him later when you had a chance to talk alone.

At some point during the walk back to the cabin Kayo started up a conversation. Both you and Kuroo contributed but you noticed Yaku was silent the whole walk.

When you got back to the cabin Kuroo finally let you climb off his back. Honestly you were feeling a lot better now. It had been the heat and lack of food and water all combined that had really got to you.

All four of you went back into the cabin, taking the clothes you all had left out to dry with you. You sat on the couch for a few minutes with Kayo while Kuroo and Yaku were in their room putting away their clothes still.

After a few minutes Kuroo emerged from his room but Yaku was still in there. He really didn't seem okay and you were starting to worry about him.

"Where's Morisuke?" you asked as soon as Kuroo came out of the room.

"He's just packing up a few things. Our room is a bit of a mess." Kuroo answered.

You nodded although you were sure it had more to do with him wanting to have a moment alone to himself rather than him wanting to clean the room.

"Anyway, you and Yaku made breakfast so you just relax there while me and Kayo make dinner. It's only fair." Kuroo said.

"I won't argue that." you said. Normally you would jump up at the opportunity to help out and insist in doing something but you just didn't feel like cooking right now.

Kayo immediately jumped up and followed Kuroo into the kitchen. You watched Yaku's door for a couple minutes but he didn't come out. So you got up and headed for the front door instead.

"Where are you going y/n?" Kuroo called out, clearly still worried about you.

"Just to finish a few things on my painting. I'll only be on the deck." you answered before continuing on outside.

By now the forest portion had also dried so you started up with the painting of the cabin. You weren't sure how long you were working for before you heard the footsteps of someone else on the deck. You turned quickly to see Yaku approaching.

"I had collected pollen earlier in case you could add it in anywhere. Like a glow to the cabin or something." Yaku said as he took a seat beside you.

You noticed how he had completely avoided talking about the incident today so you didn't force it.

"You mean a glow like how it does at night?" you asked.

Yaku nodded in response. That gave you an idea.

"I have the morning light glistening in the reflections on the water. I can add a few shadows for the evening shadows casted in the forest. Then finally the glow the cabin gives off in the night. This canvas won't only bring the whole place to life, it's gonna bring every aspect of this place to life." you said.
