When you opened your eyes there was light leaking into the room through a crack in the navy blue blinds that covered the window. Your head was pounding from the night before and it took more than a few seconds of scanning the room for you to realize where you were.

You were in Yaku's room. You couldn't remember exactly how your conversation with him had gone since a few details were a little burry in your mind but you did remember him comforting you after drinking so much. You didn't remember deciding to go to sleep in his room and you were sure you must have been pretty out of it to take over his room like that. You hoped the boy didn't mind too much at least.

You almost instantly felt your face heat up when you realized you were wearing Yaku's shirt. Not only did you take over his bed but you had also stolen his clothing. You really did owe him a huge thank you for not getting pissed off with you.

As you sat up in his bed you scanned the room to see that you were alone, but you did spot your shirt neatly folded and left on top of the dresser. You didn't remember folding your shirt or even changing for that matter.

You wasted no time in lazily pulling yourself out of bed. You managed to annoy both sleeping cats who had shared the bed with you in your action. But they quickly forgot about their annoyance as they almost instantly curled back up into a sleep.

After pulling your shirt back on and leaving Yaku's folded and on his bed that you took a minute to make you decided to head down the stairs. It felt weird walking out of Yaku's room instead of Kayo's since you had slept countless nights in this house but never in the room you were now emerging from.

When you made it into the kitchen you almost immediately noticed Yaku fast asleep on the couch. He looked so adorable all wrapped up in the blankets like that and you couldn't help yourself but smile at the boy.

You had to admit that the house was a lot cleaner than you had expected it to be. You wondered if Kayo had stayed up late to tidy it up after everyone had left. You were pretty sure you had fallen asleep well before the party had ended even though you had promised to help clean up the mess with her.

As if it were your own house you poured yourself a bowl of cereal and started to eat. Over the past few years you had gotten comfortable enough in this home with this family to help yourself to their food. Other than Kayo's, Kuroo's place was the only other house where you would do this.

When you were halfway through your bowl you heard the front door open. A few seconds later your best friend made her way into the kitchen with an iced coffee in her hand. She looked a little confused to see you.

"Y/n? I didn't know you were still here. I would've bought you one too, want half?" she offered, holding her drink towards you and not even batting an eye at the fact that you were eating at her table.

You quickly shook your head at her offer. You didn't think your pounding headache could really handle anything other than water. Besides, throwing coffee into the mix in your stomach seemed like a very bad idea.

"Sorry I was going to help you with clean up. Did it take long?" you asked.

Kayo waved her hand dismissively at your comment. "It wasn't a big deal. Keiji and Mori helped me clean everything once everyone was gone." she said. You were glad that she at least had help to do it and didn't have to clean everything alone.

"That's good." you replied simply.

"Where did you sleep y/n?" Kayo asked, trying to make sense of your presence. If you had been smart you would have left before she even got home so that you didn't have to explain to anyone what a mess last night really was for you.
