"Bokuto?" you questioned with a hint of confusion. The boy had only ever been to your house once and it was definitely not in the ordinary to have surprise visits from him. Not to mention you were sure he was still feeling hurt that you didn't show up to his game yesterday.

"Yeah I'm here. Can I come in? I really wanna talk to you." he asked.

You nodded before quickly realizing how dumb that was since he couldn't see you. You weren't sure what he wanted to talk to you about and you weren't sure you were ready to explain why you ditched him yesterday but he came all the way to your house, the least you could do was let him see you.

"Come in." you answered. You were sitting crisscross on your bed. Your room was nowhere near clean but it didn't look nearly as bad as it had this morning at least.

Bokuto entered your room slowly. He was still wearing his Fukurodani uniform so you figured he had come straight to your house instead of his own as soon as school ended. You watched as Bokuto scanned your room for the first time ever, this definitely wasn't the state you would have liked it to be in when he first saw it but at least he had never seemed like the judgmental type. Besides, you were willing to bet that his room was no better.

You noticed as his gaze landed on your painting that was now completely ruined by Kenzo. You wished that you had thought to hide it before he came in so that he wouldn't see it. You weren't sure why but you were embarrassed about it.

Bokuto looked over at you with a surprisingly very serious expression on his face. There wasn't even a hint of his normal smile.

"Are you safe?" he asked in a concerned tone.

You felt almost a little emotional from the way he was worrying about you. He didn't ask what had happened or why the words were written on your canvas. He didn't ask that because that wasn't what was important to him. You were the important thing. All that he cared about was that whoever had written that message wasn't coming back for you.

You couldn't find your voice to answer him. You thought you might start crying and you didn't know if it was still lingering tears from everything or if it was because of his response to your room.

Bokuto walked over to the bed. He stood beside where you were sitting, looking down at you with that serious expression still. You hadn't even thought it was possible for him to push back that goofy front he always had.

"Y/n, who did this?" he asked calmly.

You felt yourself begin to cry once again. "It's a long story but he isn't coming back here again." you explained.

Bokuto nodded as he carefully placed a hand on the back of your head to pull you closer to him. He then wrapped both arms around you while you quietly cried a little into his chest. You were extremely embarrassed but you couldn't stop yourself. It felt good to let everything out knowing that he wasn't judging you for being sad.

When you pulled away from the boy you were quick to wipe your eyes clean from the tears before looking up at him.

"What are you doing here Bo?" you asked. It wasn't like the two of you had plans and the last time you did you never showed up.

"Yuna said that you came by my house yesterday. Then today at school Akaashi said that you pretty upset about missing the game. I tried texting you but you didn't answer. I texted Kayo about you and she said you weren't at school today. I was worried that maybe you were upset because you thought I was mad at you and I didn't want you to be stressing about me." he explained.

You quickly shook your head. "I'm not mad at you. I never was." you quickly assured him. You glanced around your room briefly taking in the sight of your ruined painting. "I just had a lot to deal with and needed a day away from everything. I'm so sorry I didn't show up yesterday." you said. Even though Bokuto didn't seem angry at all you still felt incredibly guilty about missing his game.
