You sat on your bed after spending a couple hours in your room alone. You or your brother hadn't spoken to each other since you had stormed upstairs. You hadn't even bothered slipping downstairs to find something to eat for dinner and you could feel your stomach angerly rumbling at you. About an hour and a half ago you could tell that some of Isamu's friends had shown up.
Like he had said there weren't as many friends over as you had imagined were going to be coming. From what you could tell from upstairs there were less than twenty people in the house.
The music was a little loud and they were talking loudly but other than that their presence in the house wasn't actually bothering you. The only thing that was really annoying to you was the fact that you couldn't go downstairs to eat because all of his friends were down there.
You ventured out to the hallway to go to the washroom. The second you opened your door you were hit with a strong scent that seemed to be a mixture between smoke and weed. While you weren't too surprised by this you had no idea how your brother planned to get rid of the smell before your parents returned the next day. But that was his problem to deal with, you wouldn't even be around when they got home since you had plans with Bokuto.
When you were coming back out of the washroom you nearly jumped when you saw a boy standing in your hallway. Even from where you were standing far away from him you could tell he was clearly high.
"Y/n, we need to fucking talk." your brother's best friend said in his normal deep voice.
You scrunched up your face in confusion. You had spoken to this boy maybe once in your whole life and never anything important. He was simply just your brother's friend and that was all, you and him had no connection beyond that. No reason to have to talk in private.
"Talk about what?" you questioned. You sort of wanted to flee the conversation and return back to your room but kept yourself in place anyway. You were partly curious to hear what he had to say and partly afraid to leave the confrontation.
"Don't act like a fucking idiot. You and I both know what you saw last night." he practically spat the words out. As he spoke you felt like you yourself could taste the alcohol from his breath alone.
What did you see last night? Literally half the night was a hazy blur to you and you had no idea what you had seen. But as you searched your memory for answers they did come. Kenzo, the boy standing in front of you now, was making out with your brothers girlfriend Reina.
"What do you want to say? How the hell do you plan to explain that one?" you asked coldly. You didn't like this boy. You hated him. He pretended to be your brothers closest friend while giving him the deepest wound.
"I'm not explaining shit. You know what happened. But you aren't going to fucking say a word to your brother." Kenzo replied. You didn't like the way he was speaking with a mixture of authority and anger. It made you nervous.
"Why? So you can continue to be a dick to him?" you responded.
"No, because I don't think you are going to like what happens to you when you do tell him." he said.
You felt your heart jump at his words. This was more than you could handle. You wanted to run away and hide, you hated this whole confrontation. You felt awful to admit it, but you wished you had never caught him in the first place. Then you wouldn't have to get wrapped up in your brothers mess.
"Is that a threat?" you asked, taking every piece of courage you had to not back away from him.
Kenzo straightened up to show off his height before taking a simple step towards you.
