The walk to the bowling aisle wasn't too far. Kuroo and Kenma were arguing for a while which was a little inconvenient for you since you had ended up walking in the middle of the two of them. But you really didn't mind, it felt nice to be with the two of them again just hanging out like normal.
When you arrived Kuroo rented a lane for the three of you while you and Kenma went and picked out shoes for all of you. Kuroo was also the one to type in the names, chuckling as he put Kenma's first to force the boy to lead off.
"See he pulls stuff like this then wonders why I find him annoying." Kenma complained as he sauntered up to the lane.
"Tell you what Kuroo. Me and Kenma beat you and you have to make dinner. You win we'll make it." you suggested, knowing that you would immediately spark that competitive part of Kuroo that you were no stranger to.
"Wait a minute the two of you against me? How is that fair?" he replied. But by the way his face was furrowing in thought you knew he wanted to accept.
"I don't know, you're the one always talking about how great you are." you said with an innocent shrug.
Truthfully Kuroo was for some reason really good at bowling. You didn't understand why considering he only went when you did but he was somehow skilled at the sport despite the lack of practice.
"Fine. Since it's two vs one make it include a desert if I win and it's on." Kuroo agreed with a grin.
You grinned back as the two of you shook on it. Then Kuroo went up to take his turn. As Kenma came back you explained the bet you made with Kuroo.
"No why would you do that? He isn't going to stop boasting about it if he wins." Kenma whined in response.
"Oh come on Kenma, you have no faith. Kuroo isn't going to boast because you and I are going to kick his ass no problem." you said, giving him a playful punch to the arm.
"You have way more confidence in us than you should." Kenma mumbled.
"I think you just don't have enough confidence in us Kenma. Come on when have we ever let Kuroo show off like that? We got this!" you replied with a grin.
Kenma just gave you a look, one that said he really didn't agree but wasn't going to argue over it. By this point Kuroo had finished and it was your turn to go up. You gave Kenma a big smile and a thumbs up before going to take your turn.
The entire game you and Kuroo continued to trash talk each other. Even Kenma seemed to get into it a lot more than usual. It always made you smile to see Kenma having so much fun running around.
Kenma was even throwing in the odd insult Kuroo's way, which worked to fire Kuroo up even more. When you made it to the last frame Kuroo was still a little ahead of the two of you. Kenma really put everything into his final frame though managing to spare it up. His final ball gave you an extra few points. Kuroo went putting himself in the lead. You had the final frame of the game and needed to get all the pins in order for you and Kenma to be the winners.
"Ohh is she gonna choke and lose the whole thing?" Kuroo questioned in a teasing manner.
"Shut up Kuroo. Y/n's got this, she's definitely not about to let you win." Kenma responded. Even when clapping back at Kuroo he still had a very quiet mannerism to him.
You looked back at the two of them. "What Kenma said. I'm not about to go throwing the game for you." you said.
Kuroo was grinning. You were sure that he actually had no care at all who won, he was just enjoying being out with the two of you. Plus just like you, Kuroo loved when Kenma would get excited over stuff like this.
