Nearly four weeks have passed since I had my encounter with Miyumi and Kirara. I was starting to take my 'training' into my own hands, because I wasn't having much luck in the trainer department. My spiritual powers were still pretty weak, and training on my own wasn't helping that much. I've had to hide from more demons than I was able to fight, because I am so small. Especially with one demon in particular...

As I was traveling, I sensed a demonic aura much stronger than I had ever felt before. I figured if I was going to prove anything and get stronger this would be it. I hid behind a nearby tree and waited for the nearby demon to enter the clearing. When his footsteps got dangerously close, I peeked out from behind the tree. He looked almost human from behind, except for his silver hair flowing in the breeze. Until he turned around, I almost thought my spiritual powers were playing a trick on me. Still hidden behind the tree, I looked up to his face noticing emotionless golden eyes and demonic markings. The guy was definitely demon, a powerful one too. I moved back a little to ready my bow, but in doing so, stepped on a twig that snapped under my foot. 'Oh, no. I'm done for.' I thought. I peeked around the tree, but the demon was gone. A few moments later, I turned to come face to face with the demon.

"Lord Sesshomaru?" A voice called. "Where are you, my lord?" We both stayed staring each other down; that is until I screamed running away. Unfortunately, it was right into the source of the other voice. "Watch it, girl!" The voice yelled. I looked down to see I had run into a small green imp. Fearing for my life, I moved off the imp quickly and took aim with my bow. "Stay away from me! I'm not afraid to use this!" My words sounded weaker than I meant for them to be. The demon, I'm guessing Sesshomaru, stared at me before lifting his hand. In a panic, I released the arrow. It grazed his lifted arm, and with that a long ribbon-like whip appeared and disappeared faster than I could react. "I do not wish to waste my strength on a weak half-breed." Sesshomaru stated. He began walking away with the small imp following behind. I stood up, "That's all the great Sesshomaru can do." I notched another arrow. "I thought you'd be stronger than this, considering your father was a great demon." I stated weakly. He stopped walking and glared over his shoulder at me. I fell to the ground again watching the whip return to its source at his claws. He continued walking away and disappeared into the forest without another sound.
