When I returned to the past, I was greeted by Naraku when I reached the Sacred Tree. "Where have you been?" He asked. "I went home. That's all you need to know. What do you want?" I questioned. "What information do you have on the girl?" "She and InuYasha are looking for the fragments of Jewel. I'm assuming you are doing the same?" I inquired. He gave me a wicked smile that seemed vaguely familiar before replying. "That's what I have you for." I was confused. "What the hell are talking about? I can't find Jewel Shards unless you know something I don't." "They'll come to you. You have more power than you realize. That's all I require of you, for now." With that, he vanished once again. I still didn't know what he was talking about, but again I'll have to figure it out later. So, on my quest, I go.

Two weeks searching and I've found three shards. I do have to give Naraku this much, he was right. For every shard I've gathered, the demon that possessed it came for me instead of me finding it, which was strange. I guess I better keep looking so I can take these to Naraku, along with a few others if I can find them. That was my plan until Naraku appeared. Sometimes, I think he knows he can read my mind. "What now?" I questioned. "Did you find any Jewel Shards?" he inquired. "Yeah, just like you said." I stated, skeptically. He looked almost puzzled like he was trying to figure out if I was lying. "Give them to me. I need them earlier than planned." He commanded. "What are you going to use them for?" I questioned. "That's none of your concern." He held out his hand and I fished the Shards out of their pouch to give them to him. "Here." I said as I handed them to him. "Now, I'll be on my way." With that, he vanished in a cloud of poison. What was he planning and why did he need me to find the shards when he could do it himself? Growling in frustration, I continued on my way to find more shards.
