InuYasha and I walked around the festival in search of the demons. We passed by several booths that were selling various things related to Ancient Japan. Weirdly enough, it almost felt like home. I was looking around enjoying the sights and smells when InuYasha said my name. "What is it?" I asked as I walked up to him and looked where he was pointing. The drawings that had been hanging on my wall at home were here on display along with several other artists, one drawing, in particular, had caught InuYasha's eye. It was a drawing of him as a human, one of my first good drawings of something other than flowers. "I drew these when I lived with Kagome's friend, Ayumi. I had them hanging up on my wall. I didn't have my memories, so I drew flashes," I told him. He didn't say anything, instead, he just stared at the drawing. "You do realize we have something to do, right," I questioned, slightly annoyed. "So, I was one of the people you remembered," He said it so quietly, I almost didn't hear him. I blushed at his statement, before grabbing his arm and dragging him away from the drawings. As we walked, I began to sense a weak demonic aura, so we raced after it only for me to be stopped by Amaya. I nodded to InuYasha who took that as a sign to keep going. "Kaya, it's good to see you, again." "It's good to see you, as well," I told Amaya with a smile. "I'm here to see Ayumi's choir performance, she told me Kagome had the solo," She explained. "That's what I heard, I bet it will be fantastic," I told her. "Kaya, there's something bothering you, isn't there?" She had no idea and I couldn't explain it. I shook my head, "No, I did want to thank you for bringing my drawings up here. My brother got to see a drawing of himself for the first time." She giggled, "so, that's who you were with just now." I nodded before giving Amaya a quick hug and a wave good-bye. I had to catch up to InuYasha, he wasn't accustomed to how things go in this world, so it seemed I was his babysitter. When I caught up to him, he was still looking for the demon. "Hey, sorry, I got caught up," I apologized. "Whatever, where's the demon?" "It's not far ahead, come on," I told him before taking the lead. We got to the demon about the time Kagome started her solo, and InuYasha took it out without anyone noticing.

Kagome met up with us after her choir performance and we began our search together. That is until Eri dragged her away for the play. InuYasha stood there dumbfounded until I began walking, again. "Do you sense any demonic auras?" He asked after we were back outside. "If I had, I would've told you by now," I stated. I spoke too soon, "There's a faint aura this way, come on." We took off, with me leading the way. I led us to the auditorium, but there were no demons in sight, even though the aura was really strong here. "Where's the demon?" InuYasha asked, impatiently. "I honestly have no idea," I told him, truthfully. "What you mean you don't know?" "It's not out in the open, so we'll have to wait for it to come out of hiding." "You can't be serious?!" He exclaimed. "I'm dead serious," I told him. He growled with annoyance and got impatient because he had caught the demon's scent. "InuYasha, wait!" I was too late. I watched as he burst through the ceiling of the auditorium. Damn that idiot. I ran around the front and went inside, only to find that InuYasha had been incorporated into the play. InuYasha's face was enough to get me to start laughing. He looked so confused and Kagome looked terrified. Just as Hojo's character challenged InuYasha to a 'duel', the stage began to rumble. The demonic aura was extremely close now; this can't be good. A moment later, the demon came up through the stage. The crowd was cheering like crazy. I guess they thought it was just part of the play. When Hojo advanced on the demon, Kagome yelled for InuYasha to do something. He did something all right, he used the wind scar on the demon causing it to disintegrate. Unfortunately, he destroyed quite a bit of the stage and more of the roof. After the demon was dead, Kagome told InuYasha something causing him to jump back through the hole in the roof as Kagome said some finishing lines with her on his back. I ran out the front door and headed in their direction, but someone grabbed my arm causing me to stop. "I don't have time for---" I didn't get to finish my thought. There standing in the bright afternoon sun was none other than Caleb. "You don't have time for what?" he inquired. "Nothing, it's nothing." Oh yeah, not suspicious at all. "It's been a long time, how are you doing?" He asked, sincerely. "That it has. I've been doing okay, actually. What about you?" I stated, politely. "I've been the same. I heard you're living with your brother now, how is that going?" He asked. I had honestly forgotten how kind he is. "It's going well, but Caleb, I have to go. I'm sorry," I told him before running off in the direction of InuYasha and Kagome. I caught up to them at the roof, I had felt the earthquake, so I was expecting something much more powerful than a large, bouncing fish. I do have to admit, Kagome's idea to turn it into the main course wasn't a bad idea. I guess everything turned out alright in the end.

The day ended and honestly, I'd take Naraku over today's torment. As if on cue, Caleb came up to me again. InuYasha and Kagome were looking at me expectantly, but I told them to go on without me. "I'm sorry, I was so short with you earlier," I apologized. "Don't worry about it, are you okay now?" Caleb questioned. I nodded in response. "That's good. I was wondering, why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" "I don't know. I just didn't think about it," I told him, honestly. He looked at me in disbelief before kissing my cheek. "I guess we can move on then," He said. I nodded in agreement. "Caleb, I'm sorry for not telling you." "It's no big deal. I hope I see you again, someday," He told me. I nodded and waved good-bye before heading in the direction of Higurashi Shrine.
