It had been a couple of weeks since I returned to Naraku's castle and I had learned more valuable information. Lord Hitomi was actually Naraku, so I was following Naraku's orders from the start. Plus, I had learned that he can do demon puppetry, which is very bad. So, I've been collecting Jewel Shards and following his orders, mostly. I've collected a total of five jewel shards since I started and haven't told him about any of them. He still thinks I'm turning up empty-handed, and I've suffered for it greatly, but it was worth it to help Kagome and InuYasha. No way is Naraku getting any more Shards from me. I still help him and his incarnations with tasks though, like finding suitable demons for him and tracking InuYasha. None of these would have been a big deal until he put his main plan into action by leaving Kagura and me in his castle to flee to a new one. He was setting a trap and left us to spring it.

"So, what is someone like you doing helping Naraku?" Kagura asked as we waited for someone to arrive. "He promised me revenge on my worst enemy. In return, I help him with minor tasks." I explained but continued our conversation. "So, might I ask who we're waiting for?" She didn't get to answer before their scent hit my nose. Wolf demons. I growled causing Kagura to get in position. The demons were there to raid the castle, I knew that much from Naraku's information, but I didn't know why he had known about it. I got my answer. Kagura opened her fan and used her dance of blades to completely annihilate the small army of wolf demons. She then closed her fan and we waited once again. It felt like ages until I caught InuYasha's scent entering the castle. The pieces finally came together, this was a trap for InuYasha. I stepped forward about to go outside but Kagura stopped me and opened her fan. Using another move, her dance of the dead, she caused the deceased wolf demons to surround InuYasha. She closed her fan and I watched in horror as blood from their wounds covered InuYasha from head to toe. Another scent of a wolf demon hit my senses, and I knew something bad was about to happen.

I watched as InuYasha and a wolf demon collided in battle, while Miroku and Sango fought one of Naraku's demon puppets. As I noticed InuYasha's movements start to slow, Kagura stepped out of the castle. She opened her fan and using her dance of blades, easily defeated the wolf demon. A battle between Kagura and InuYasha began, but I stayed in my position. I continued to watch until I recognized a particular scent, I knew all too well, the scent of a wind scar trying to form. It couldn't fully form, and I could tell InuYasha was starting to lose the battle. So, I did something probably stupid, I exited the castle and drew my sword. I wasn't going to let him, or the others get killed because I was a coward. I got in a battle position and released a wind scar of my own, heading straight towards the two. This wind scar was different from the others I had produced, it was a light pink instead of its normal yellow color. As it clashed with what I'm guessing was Kagome's arrow, a wind scar formed and InuYasha used the Tetsusaiga to cut through it. The next thing I know, I'm flying on a giant feather with Kagura, who looked extremely angry. I knew I was in for it when we got back to Naraku, but at least the others were safe.
