The supply hut was in the middle of the village, that was something I did remember. Why I was drawn to it, I have no idea, but I went inside anyway. While I was looking around, I had a memory flash to my mind of a dark blue kimono. At least now, I kind of knew what I was looking for. It took me a long time to find the correct crate, and I was slightly disappointed when I did because the kimono was the same size it was when I last saw it: child-sized. I picked it up and examined it as more memories flowed back. I clutched the small kimono to my chest, but something strange happened. It began to grow as I held it and didn't stop until it was the size an adult would wear. I smiled and looked down in the crate again; there I found an old bow, a quiver with arrows and a sword. I picked everything up and headed towards the forest.

I stopped near a tree deep in the forest. I put the bow, arrows, and sword next to a tree and decided to change into the kimono using the tree as cover. After changing, I sat down and examined everything carefully bringing forth many more memories. Everything was as I had left it and I couldn't have been more relieved. Fifty years had passed, and everything was still in the same crate I left it in all those years ago.
Flashback: Kikyo, Kaede, and I were walking around the village as we normally did to watch for demons and help the villagers. A young seamstress had been visiting the village, but Kikyo said she had a bad feeling about the woman. Kikyo's bad feeling was correct because we discovered the seamstress was possessed by a demon that was wanting to steal the Shikon Jewel. I had made Kikyo angry after running into the fight, but if I hadn't the woman would've been killed, and the demon would've been set free. So, I got the demon to release the woman and Kikyo purified it easily. A couple of days later, as the woman was leaving, she found me at the edge of the forest and gave me a pale pink and pale blue, flower pattern, dress-like kimono for helping save her. I tried to give it back and explain that I was just doing my job, but she refused and left with a smile. So, after that day, I wore the seamstress's kimono and put mine in storage along with my sword.
I smiled at the memory, but that soon faded when I sensed a demonic aura coming near. "Hello, Kaya." A voice said. I drew my sword, "Who are you? Show yourself!" "My apologies, my name is Naraku." The voice said from behind the tree. "Alright, Naraku, show yourself," I commanded. A moment later, a man in a baboon pelt appeared. "How do you know me?" I said as I pointed my sword towards him. "We met long ago, in this very forest. You agreed to lend me your assistance when the time came." He stated. It took me a moment to recall what he was talking about. It was a long time ago. It was after my first 'fight' with InuYasha, over something that seemed so stupid now. "Alright, I assume you need my assistance, then," I said. "In fact, I do. I wish for you to observe the woman who holds the Sacred Jewel." He said. "Why? Are you wanting the Jewel?" I asked, my eyes narrowing. "I only wish for you to observe so I can have information, nothing more." He stated. I could tell he was hiding something but decided to help him anyway. Maybe I could get more information on him, and then decide if I could trust him. "Alright, I'll do it, but if you try anything it'll be the last thing you ever do." I threatened. "Kaya are you really threatening me. I know what you want, and I can help you get it. You just have to do this for me." He said with a smirk. I narrowed my eyes again, "What do you mean?" "You want revenge for Kikyo's death, and I can help you achieve it." He explained. "Fine, whatever. Just leave before I change my mind." I said, reluctantly. Without another word Naraku, and any trace of his visit disappeared.
