After breakfast and a quick dip in the hot spring Minda was excited to explore the town.

"I talked to Bao. There is apparently a street that is famous for its crafts. Do you want to take a look?" Kai asked.

"It's worth looking into." Minda said. They had visited a few markets but Minda never seemed that interested in them. They all felt the same and paled in comparison to the markets at the Capital. He hoped maybe the craftsman street would have something new or unexpected to look at.

"The weather is beginning to get colder. Put this on."

After raining the temperature seemed to drop. Kai naturally worried about Minda and was already taking steps to keep Minda as safe and healthy as possible. Minda looked at the thick robe and frowned. He couldn't deny it felt a little colder but not enough to wear thick winter clothes.

"I'll be too hot wearing that." Minda said but Kai disagreed.

"We're going to be walking outside. You need to add layers." Kai said. This time he didn't wait for Minda's response and pulled Minda up so he could start dressing him.

"It's not that cold."

"You had a fever just last night." Kai pointed out.

"I feel great today."

"To keep you feeling great put this on." Kai said. Minda didn't resist and let Kai dress him in another thick robe.

"Honey, you don't have to worry so much. I'm not that fragile." Minda said as Kai dressed him. Kai however wouldn't change his mind and made sure Minda was nice and warm.

...

Once Kai was satisfied he brought over Minda's wheelchair. There was no way Minda would be able to walk the streets with his knee. Thankfully the roads had dried and they wouldn't have to worry about mud or puddles as Kai pushed Minda's wheelchair towards the craftsman street in town.

As they walked towards town Minda enjoyed the sunlight on his face. Due to the rain and his fever this was the first time he could enjoy it in days.

"It's not even cold." Minda thought. Kai saw the way he looked at him and knew exactly what he was thinking.

"It might not feel cold now but that could change if the wind picks up." Kai said.

"Did I say that aloud?" Minda asked shocked that Kai knew what he was thinking.

"You didn't but I can easily read your mind." Kai said with a smug look on his face. Minda blushed and turned his head away.

"It's not that easy." Minda mumbled in denial. Kai heard him and lightly chuckled.

...

"I'm surprised things aren't busier." Minda said feeling disappointed. As they looked around there were very few people around and many of the stalls and shops seemed to be empty. Some were even closed.

"It might not be the season for tourists." Kai reasoned.

"Do you think they are busier in the winter? Taking a nice hot bath when the weather is cold does sound nice." Minda guessed.

"I agree."

"When the weather gets cold again, should we come back?"

"We could."

...

Kai pushed Minda along the street. They peeked into a few shops but none of them caught his interest.

"Kai, do you think I've become too spoiled to enjoy the real world?" Minda couldn't help but wonder when there was nothing that caught his interest.

"What do you mean?" Kai asked. They had just left a shop and Minda had no interest in any of the items on display.
