"Auntie Feifei, Kai just left to find you." Minda said when she entered the room.

"We've spoken. He has informed me of your fever." Auntie Feifei said. Her polite and short reply caught Minda's attention.

"Did something happen?" Minda asked. He had known Auntie Feifei all his life and could tell something was different.

"Everything is well. Young Master, may I check your forehead?" Auntie Feifei said. Minda didn't believe that everything was fine and continued to ask.

"Auntie Feifei if there is something that is bothering you I hope you can talk to me." Minda said. Auntie Feifei debated telling Minda what was on her mind. In the morning she intended to talk to Minda about what is or isn't appropriate but after speaking with Kai she changed her mind.

"Please, tell me what happened." Minda insisted.

"Nothing has happened. I am simply concerned about your relationship with Sir Kai." Auntie Feifei said.

"Is there something wrong with it?" Minda innocently asked.

"It is not my place to say, however sharing a bed with someone who is not your marital partner is inappropriate."

"You saw?" Minda asked. His face quickly turning red when he realized he had been seen sleeping with Kai.

"I did. That is why I am compelled to ask what type of relationship do you have with Sir Kai?"

"What do you mean?"

"Is he simply a friend or a potential suitor?" Auntie Feifei asked in a very direct way.

"Kai and I are both men." Minda said not quite understanding what it was she was asking.

"Young Master, two men can marry. If you wish to pursuit that type of relationship with Sir Kai I believe it is best to make your intentions clear so we may begin preparation for your wedding." Auntie Feifei said. Minda was a little surpris d that two men could marry but not opposed to the idea.

"Do you think Kai would want to marry me?" Minda asked. He had never really thought of marriage. His family had asked him about it when he turned sixteen but he was never interested in getting married and they were fine with his decision. But the thought of marrying Kai was tempting.

"I believe that is something you should discuss with Sir Kai. However if it is something you desire You will have our support." Auntie Feifei said with a mysterious grin.

She didn't intend on suggesting marriage earlier but after her conversation with Kai she felt it would be a good idea. Kai, unlike her naive Young Master was strong both in body and mind and obviously cared for her Young Master and wasn't shy afraid to speak his mind. More importantly her Young Master cared about Kai and had become attached to him. With that in mind she made the decision to plant the idea of marriage in her Young Master's mind.

Minda went quiet imagining the possibility. He was a seventeen year old boy with a very innocent idea of marriage. Thinking marriage meant always being together he was growing more and more fond of the idea of marrying Kai.

"If we got married Kai and I will always be together. We can share a room and not have to worry about what other people think. I'll be able to share my money and assets with Kai because what's mine will be his after we get married. Best of all we'll be a family."

...

After awhile Kai returned alone to the bedroom with some medication and lunch. Considering Minda's health Auntie Feifei made him some soup while Kai made the grilled pheasant he hunted the day before.
