The rest of the day was busy for everyone except Minda. Every time he tried to help he would be told to rest and pushed into a corner of the garden or given a book to read. After lunch, he was relegated to his room to rest were he he sit in bed feeling restless.

"Kai, it seems I can't do anything." Minda said in a self-deprecating tone as he poked the stone next to him.

Knock... knock*

"Young Master, Doctor Wu is here. May we come in?" Auntie Feifei announced from the other side of the door.

"Come in." Minda said. A few moments later Aunite Feifei and Syaoran came in with an older man. He had a crooked back, wore glasses and walked with a cane. The two of them walked over to Minda's bedside. Auntie Feifei hurriedly brought over a bench for the doctor to sit on.

"Good afternoon, my name is Doctor Wu. I've been informed of the situation and would like to aid you." The doctor said in a calm voice.

"It's nice to meet you. I am Chen Minda. I appreciate you coming all this way. With regards to my injuries I received extensive treatment in the palace hospital, my current situation isn't exactly ideal though." Minda said.

"I may not be as capable as the famous palace doctors but I will do my best to continue your treatment if you will allow me to do so." Doctor Wu respectfully said.

"I'm sure you are more than capable of tending to my injuries." Minda said. The doctor smiled in return and proceeded to open his bag.

"I would like to begin by checking your pulse."

Minda held out his wrist for him. The doctor's hands were cold to the touch and made Minda shiver.

"Forgive me, my hands always seem to be cold." The doctor said knowing the cause. He then proceeded to check Minda's pulse. His brow furrowing slightly. Minda wasn't surprised. The previously doctors had mentioned him having several blocked meridians and poor circulation.

"Young Master Chen, may I see your injuries?" The doctor requested next. Minda didn't object. For privacy Syaoran placed a screen around the bed. Minda revealed his injuries. The doctor examined each one occasionally asking Minda to move or about his pain.

"Your body has endured a great deal of trauma. A full recovery is..."

"Impossible." Minda interjected with a pitiful smile. The doctor was unable to refute his words and sighed heavily in response.

"Your blocked meridians will increase your sensitivity to temperature. The cold will cause your body to ache and the heat will drain your energy. With regular acupressure and medication I can help lessen the symptoms."

"Even a little relief is appreciated." Minda said. He had already noticed his body's changes f on the temperature despite the mild weather.

"May I see your current prescriptions?" The doctor proceeded to request. When he did Auntie Feifei moved forward to give the doctor several papers listing all of his prescriptions. The doctor looked through each one grumbling occasionally. He then separated them into three piles.

"It would seem you've been given contradicting and overlapping prescriptions." The doctor began to explain. Minda and everyone looked at the doctor curiously.

"What do you mean?" Auntie Feifei asked.

"These are necessary prescriptions he will need to continue taking regularly. They help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, and improve meridian flow."

Minda looked at the pile. There were only three different prescriptions in it, happy his dozens of prescriptions were reduced to three he looked at the other two piles.
