After looking through the hunting cabin Kai set aside a few items he thought would be useful. There was a bow, a quiver full of arrows, rope, short sword, knife, and bamboo basket to carry everything.

"Is that all?" Minda asked as he snuck a peek inside the basket.

"It's more than enough."

"I remember there's some dry meats and snacks in the kitchen. I'll have Auntie Feifei prepare you a bag full in case you get hungry."

"It's appreciated."

"What about water. It's important to always have water when going out."

"I have a canteen in my bag." Kai said.

"What else..."

"Minda, I don't plan to be gone for days. It will only be a short trip. Don't worry." Kai said with a smile as he pushed some stray hairs behind Minda's ear.

"It's better to be prepared." Minda muttered.

"You're right. It's always better to be prepared." Kai said. He finished packing up the bag and flung it over his shoulder before wheeling Minda away.

...

When it was time for dinner Minda requested that everyone eat together. He had been eating with his servants since arriving at the estate because there was only the four of them living at the estate. This time Minda had another reasons to ask them to Jun him and Kai.

"Uncle Ran, Kai plans to go hunting tomorrow. Can you give him some advice?" Minda asked shortly after dinner started.

"ZiLong Mountain has plenty of suitable prey and is relatively safe." Ran said.

"I remember you have a map with all the best places to hunt and paths on the mountain." Minda added. Ran looked a bit troubled when Minda mentioned his map. Kai noticed and understood why.

"Minda, it's not appropriate to ask another hunter for such information." Kai said knowing Ran wouldn't be able to refuse Minda's request given his position as his servant.

"Is it? I remember Uncle ran showing it to my brothers all the time so I thought it was okay."

"You are his employer and own the land. It's not unusual for him to share information with you. I on the other hand am only a guest." Kai tried to explain. Minda however wasn't satisfied with his explanation. He still felt Uncle Ran should show Kai the map.

"But..."

"Minda, I do not need to see his map. I will make my own." Kai stated. Minda lightly pouted his lips. He wanted to help him but once again Kai chose not to accept it.

"I only want to help. Why does he have to be so stubborn?" Minda thought as he picked at his plate of vegetables. Kai could see Minda wasn't happy with his answer.

"Minda, thank you for trying to help. I appreciate it." Kai said hoping it would calm his mood.

"I wish I could do more." Minda muttered. Kai heard him but decided to ignore it. Instead he reached forward and clipped some meat onto Minda's plate.

"You should eat more meat. It will help you build muscle." Kai said as he added more to his plate. Minda's eyes went wide at the pile of meat getting bigger and bigger.

"I appreciate it, but I can't eat that much." Minda said.

"Eat what you can and I'll finish the rest." Kai said.

While Minda and Kai were lost in their own little world Auntie Feifei and the others were eating their dinner in silence. From time to time they would share worried looks.
