Minda was feeling well rested and excited for the day. He still had to finesse his tea set design but after not seeing Kai for so long he preferred spending the day lounging around with him. After breakfast he intended to do just that but Kai had other plans.

"What do you mean you need to go? You just got back." Minda asked when Kai was putting on his boots.

"I need to go sell the ibex and pelts. It should only take a few hours." Kai explained.

"Leave that to Uncle Ran. There's no reason for you to go."

"I still need to go. Once I have the money I'll head over to the jewelry shop to pay for your gift." Kai explained further.

"In that case we can go together. The clothes we ordered should be done. If not done we can check on the progress or do a second fitting so the tailor gets our measurements right." Minda said.

At that very moment Auntie Feifei entered the room.

"I've actually just received word from town. The wedding clothes still need time to complete but the rest are ready for us to pick up." She announced.

"Great! Let's go together." Minda said. Kai was fine with going together. In fact he was just teasing Minda earlier when he mentioned going alone. He always intended to bring Minda along.

...

Minda tried his best to roll forward with both leopard cubs comfortable on his lap. Auntie Feifei looked down and grimaced.

"I'm sorry young master but until we've solved the issue concerning their identities it would be best if you do not bring them outside." She warned. Minda understood what she meant but hated the idea of leaving them behind.

"Maybe we can leave them in the carriage?" He suggested.

"It's best not to risk it." Kai said. Secretly he was happy they would be left behind. He'd finally have a moment alone with Minda.

"They're too young to be left alone." Minda insisted.

"Syaoran will remain at the estate and care for the leopards. You can trust that he will take excellent care of them." Auntie Feifei said. Minda hugged the little leopards. He was reluctant to agree but knew it would be for the best.

"Make sure he gives them something to eat in an hour or two." Minda said.

Auntie Feifei stepped forward to pick up the little leopards but Minda didn't want to let them go. Before giving them up he gave them a big long hug and rubbed his face in their thick soft fur. He then gave each of them a soft kiss on their foreheads before letting Auntie Feifei take them away.

Kai glared at the little leopards. One thought crossing his mind at the sight.

"How dare they get a kiss before me!"

An intense jealousy raging inside him. He could forgive the night before when Minda insisted on keeping them in the bedroom but not the kiss.

With Auntie Feifei out of the room Kai stepped forward and grabbed Minda's chin. His sudden movement shocked Minda. He stared up at Kai who looked upset.

"Don't cheat." Kai stated in a firm voice.

"What?"

"These lips belong to me. You can't go around kissing others." Kai explained as he touched Minda's soft pink lips with his thumb.

"I... I didn't cheat. I've never kissed anyone!"

"Don't lie. I just saw you kiss Huan and Xianli."

"That? But they're just animals. It doesn't count."
