"Where is he taking me?" Minda wondered with a light blush as he tried to avoid looking around. The roads became more narrow and Minda soon noticed less and less women. The women he did see were young and scantily dressed.
Despite how he felt about the strange direction they were going in Minda didn't question Kai who was in a less than great mood. Instead he curled up in his seat and nervously massaged his stiff left hand while trying not to stare.
Kai looked down at Minda after finally escaping General Lei and calming down. As he pushed Minda passed a few women waving their handkerchiefs to catch the eyes of the nearby men he could see Minda was feeling uncomfortable.
"There should be one nearby." Kai thought as he looked around. He had brought Minda to this part of town with one thought in mind. PRIVACY.
They were having a great time shopping but after the mistake he made earlier he realized there was something he wanted more and he could feel Minda wanted it too. The only way to get it was to explore a different part of town. The part someone as pure and innocent as Minda would never go to.
"What fine young men. Would you like to come up and listen to my performance?" One woman called out from a second story building. Kai had no interest in going up but he was having a difficult time finding what he was looking for.
"My husband and I are more interested in finding somewhere private to enjoy ourselves. Do you know of a place we can go?" Kai politely asked while lovingly twisting a strand of Minda's hair between his rough fingers.
"A shame, the three of us could have such a wonderful time." She said in an exaggerated tone.
"Sorry, but he's all mine." Kai restated as he brought a piece of Minda's hair to his lips. Minda who was at the centre of their conversation was too distracted by the shameful appearance and behaviour of the surrounding men and women to notice.
"Up the road you'll see a place with a fox on the door. The madam there offers private rooms for travellers." The woman said. Her long graceful fingers pointing in the direction Kai would need to go. Kai appreciate the help and flicked a small copper coin up to the woman.
"For your time." Kai said before walking away.
...
"Honey, what are we doing here?" Minda finally asked as Kai rolled him into a room decorated in layers upon layers of brightly coloured silk drapery and pillows.
"We need somewhere private to reconnect." Kai responded. At first, Minda didn't understand but when he saw the large bed placed in the centre of the room his face turned bright red.
Knock... knock
Kai answered the door. Standing there was the older madam who offered them the room.
"Would you like a bath, lubricant, or perhaps some more adventurous items?" The woman asked.
"We have our own lotion but a bath for after would be appreciated." Kai said.
"Understood. Ring this bell and someone will come and prepare the bath when you are ready." She said pointing at a string attached to a small silver bell outside the door. Kai appreciated the fact he wouldn't have to leave the room and thanked the madam.
Minda who wasn't far away heard their conversation and was flabbergasted.
"What does he mean we have our own lubricant! That stuff should be in the carriage with the rest of my medication." Minda internally screamed.
After talking with the madam Kai returned to Minda's side and was met with a suspicious glare.
"What's wrong?" Kai asked a little confused.
